I run my hands through my hair in frustration, breathing deeply in and out. "Finals are so stressful," I complain pushing against the desk, "I'm done with College."
His arms wrap around my body as his lips kiss my cheek, "You'll get through it, and the rest of college" he says calmly.
"Easy for you to say," I stand up and turn around to face him, "you haven't started college yet, you do not know the stress of finals."
Before he can reply, a knock on the door interrupts us. I walk into the kitchen, I look to the hooks to see one set of keys missing before opening the door. I open the door revealing Jonah and Zach, "we forgot our keys."
"You two went out individually and forgot your keys bt Corbyn remember to take his keys," I state, they both look at me confused before checking the hooks. "You're always complaining about how Corbyn forgets his keys and now look at this," I can't help but laugh at them.
"Okay, okay, everyone forgets their keys every now and then," Zach tells me.
"I've never forgotten my keys," I say smugly, turning around and walking back into the main room. I sit back down in my seat and turn my laptop back on, as I open up a document of notes is goes flat, "you've got to be kidding me."
"Maybe its time to take a break," Mike suggests, I close my laptop and plug the charger into it. I hear the door open and close, soon after Corbyn walks into the main rooms.
"What's going on here?" he asks taking off his coat and throwing it on his bed.
"Her laptop died and very she is frustrated," Zach tells Corbyn.
"But they both forgot their keys," I state leaning on the desk.
"I told you this would happen one day," Corbyn points his finger at Jonah excitedly.
"Yea I know," Jonah replies, "but I think you need a break, Jacks."
"I don't need a break, I need my laptop to charge," I argue.
"Just like you didn't need to eat, you needed to memorise your third re-organised cheat sheet," Mike says in a questioning tone.
"And like how you didn't need sleep last night you needed to finish those flashcards at one in the morning," Jonah adds.
"And like how you didn't need to shower you needed to organise all of your belonging in the room," Corbyn also take the wrong side.
"And."
"Alright, fine," I cut Zach off before he can ake another point, "I'll take a break."
"You know what, so will I," Corbyn state falling onto his bed, I roll my eyes at him.
"We are going on a date with Jea and Kyle," Mike tells me, "at Friday's."
"Okay, I'll go change," I walk over to the dresser and pull out a pair of black ripped jeans and a grey cropped long sleeve shirt. I walk into the bathroom and change as well as brushing my hair after being in a messy bun for the past three days. I walk back out and sit on Corbyn's bed as I slip on a pair of back and white checkered vans.
I stand up and grab my phone from my bed, "you ready to go?" Mike asks I nod shoving my phone in my pocket. I grab my keys off the hook and leave the dorm, we walk downstairs to the parking lots and get into his car.
"I have missed you driving me around everywhere," I tell him as he starts the car, "I mean I had to walk everywhere."
"That sounds horrible," He says jokingly.
"I really have missed you," I tell him seriously.
"I'm here now, you don't miss me anymore."
"Yea," I smile at him, he returns the favour then focuses back on the road. Soon enough we arrive at Friday's and meet Jea and Kyle inside at a booth.
"So when's the wedding?" Jea asks the second we sit down.
"We're waiting until finals are over and we find out what's happening with Mike and college before we worry about that," I tell her, I notice Kyle and Mike exchange a look but I decided to ignore it.
"Let's order," Kyle suggests, "I'm hungry."
~.~
"Jacks?" Mike says as we wander down the hall to my dorm.
"Yea," I reply.
"When I woke up," he pauses for a moment, "why didn't you tell me the truth."
I stop and turn to face him, "you can't tell someone who has no idea who you are that they are engaged to you."
"We're you just going to leave?"
"I don't know Mike, for months I thought you were dead."
He nods, "I could have never remembered you and everything that happened."
"Hey, stop it," I bring my hand up to his cheek, "you remembered all of it, we're both here now and that's all that matters."
"Yea," he smiles at me, I turn around finding we stopped in front of my dorm, I unlock the door and open it. "See you later Jacks," he kisses me gently before he leaves, I walk into the dorm locking the door and hang up my keys.
"Hey guys," I say as I walk into the room finding the five of the fuddled together in front of a laptop. I revive murmured 'hey's and 'hi's from them, I take my laptop off the change and take my phone out of my pocket leaving it on the desk.
"Hey Jacks," Jonah says grabbing my attention, "wanna be out image manager?"
"Yea, sure," I reply grabbing a hair tie and putting my hair in a ponytail.
"Great, you're hired."
"Wait, seriously?" I turn to them confused.
"yea," Jonah replies, "you still have to sign the contract and all but you got a job."
A smile takes over my face, "cool, I'm done with college."

I do not know if an image manger is a real thing, I don't think it is but this is a book so it's fine.
