"You ready?" I ask Jea holding her hand between mine.

"No," she says out of breath.

"One last big push for me," The nurse says, Jea takes in a deep breath before push again.

"That's it Jea you're doing great," I say encouraging her, the baby's cry fills the room and the smile on Jea's face is the biggest I've seen.

"What is it?" Jea asks still breathing heavily.

"It's a boy," The nurse says holding him up for us, I pull Jea in hugging her tightly.

"You have a baby boys Jea," I say sharing the same joy as her.

"You have a nephew," she says. The nurse hands him to Jea, he looks down at him smiling.

I look down at my nephew, I bring my hand up to him and he holds onto my hand, "Your mum just let go of my hand and not you have it."

"I'm a mum Jacks," she says smiling brightly at me.

"I know Jea, you almost broke my hand becoming on," she laughs at me.

"Do you want to hold him?" she asks, I nod and take him into my arms.

"I'll get the father," the nurse announces as she leaves the room.

"He has your nose," Jea tells me.

"It's also your nose," I tell her, "I'm so proud of you Jea, you gave birth to this beautiful boy." Kyle and Mike walk into the room, Kyle embraces Jea then turn to me, "say hi to your son Kyle."

"I have a son," Kyle says gleaming with joy.

"Did you want to hold him?" I ask.

"Yea," he says smiling from ear to ear as he takes his boy into his arms.

"Do you have a name for him?" Mike asks, his hand resting on my back.

"Jack Michael," Jea says, "we wanted to name him after the two most important people in our lives."

"Dam it Jea, you're gonna make me cry," I say feeling the tears of joy in my eyes.

"I'm already crying," she points at the tear on her cheek. Kyle passes Jack to Jea and stands next to her, both of them smiling at their son.

"That'll be us one day," Mike tells me.

"yea but I'm having a C-section," I reply.

"I don't blame you," Jea says with a little giggle.

~.~

One of the best things about this job is I can basically do it anywhere on my own time. I can make last-minute emails and calls before going out, I can hang around in Mike's dorm chatting while he studies. I can spend time with Jea, Kyle and little Jack, or got something to eat with Cole, Alec and Dylan. but most commonly I hang around the boy's house, chatting with them, watching Netflix, working by the pool. I do my job then send weekly emails to the boys and everyone else on what has changed. I send off my weekly email before closing my laptop, I hop off the bench stool and head out to the backyard joining the guys.

"How's Jea going?" Corbyn asks me as I join him by the pool.

"SHe's doing really good," I reply, "Jacks being an angle, they're in the honeymoon phase."

"Honeymoon phase?" Jack repeats in a questioning tone.

"Soon enough Jack won't be an angle, Kyle had the honeymoon phase when he was a baby then he was horrid, wouldn't sleep, always screaming, just really bad and I reckon Jack is taking after his dad," I explain, "Kyle's mum loves to share baby stores."

I hear the doorbell ring from inside the house, I stand up and walk inside. I open the front door allowing Jea, Kyle, Jack and Mike in. "Time to go to Aunty Jacks," Kyle says passing Jack to me, he smiles cheekily as I take him gladly.

"Aww Jack, have you been a bit sick," I say noticing the baby vomit on Kyle's shoulder.

"Someone didn't burb him and we got car sick," Jea explain obviously indirectly blaming Kyle. Jea passes me a baby wipe, I take it and wipe Jack's face clean and throw it in the bin.

"Let's go outside," Mike says picking his had out of the bag and putting it on his head. Mike and I walk outside taking little Jack with us to meet the boys.

"You ready to meet the boys Jack?" I ask, "what do you think?"

Corbyn comes up and smiles at him saying, "hello little man." The rest of the boy's come up to say hello but take it slow not to overwhelm him.

"When you have a kid," Jonah says, "it can be bring your kid to work day any day you like."

"My turn to hold him," Corbyn announces, I smile and pass Jack to him.

"You need to invest in a kiddy pool," Jea tells the guys, "he loves the water just like his aunty."

Jack starts crying, Mike, being the closets, takes him off Corbyn. "I think you need to go back to Mummy," he says holding slightly away from his body walking over to Jea.

Jea smells his bum and says, "it's Daddy's turn."

"Alright Jack, come here," Kyle says with a sigh taking his son from Mike and walking inside.

"I'm looking forward to the day I can pass your kid to you and not change a diaper," Jea tells me.

"I'm not rushing to have a kind, it feels like everything has come together," I reply, "I went to college, I dropped out of college, I got an amazing job, I've got some great friends, I finally married the man I love, I became an aunt."

"Yea, we're in a pretty good spot," Mike agrees with me putting his arm around my waist.

"Yea," Jack agrees standing by the pool next to Daniel, "but it would be even better if we were in the pool," and he pushed Daniel into the pool.
