Chapter 9

Anna

i turned around trying to find her voice but i couldn't, i was in dark place that i can't see anything but i was able to see my own body

Anna

This time i was getting scared and frustrated at the same time" W-where are you?" i stuttered out with shaky voice my throat was hurting

Why didn't you save me!

I jumped at her loud strong voice repeating over again it was scaring me, my heart was racing and i immediately knew what she was saying about. The car crash, screaming, the sound of the police car was everywhere, i even remember the pain inside my chest i looked down feeling so guilty "i-i'm sorry" i barely choked out my own words it should've be me, not her i wish i could just time traveled back to that exact day and save her.

Why didn't you save me!

It was repeating all over again and again non stop i covered both of my ears trying to stop it but it was no use i wanted to stop her the word she was saying and my ears were hurting like it was going to explode i couldn't handle anymore "I'm sorry!" i yelled at top of my lungs.

I woke up, panting for air, my palm was sweaty and my forehead too, another nightmare, this is the 3rd time i'm having nightmare like this. I leaned against the headboard thinking about the word "why didn't you save me!" I was so beaten down and hopeless a single tear rolled down my cheek i quickly wiped them away. I got up head towards to the bathroom and splashed water onto my face then i looked at myself on the mirror for second and started think about how disgusted i am, why are you still living, you don't deserve this life, i clenched my jaw feeling the anger growing inside i just want to make this pain go away i clenched my fist and said to myself " I hate you, i hate you" i repeat my own words this time i yelled out loud "I hate you!" with that i hit the mirror as hard as i can a sharp pain went through my fist. The glasses splattered around the floor a blood was dripping down on the floor too then i tilt my head looked again all i can see my half of my face breaking down.

Then i heard male voice behind me

I turned around snapping my deep thoughts it was max "Yeah?" i said dry my hand "Why are you up?" he asks walking towards at me i looked down and shrugged "I had nightmare" i stare at him "again" as i continue the word he sighed took my hand leading me to my room, i climbed on my bed and laid down he pulled the sheets over to my chest keeping me warm and he asks "Do you wanna talk about it?" i shake my head no he nodded and got up walked towards to the door and glance back at me and said "Everything is gonna be fine anna" with that he closed the door behind him i'm hoping tho i turned around face the ceiling i feel like  i can't go on anymore as i closed my eyes going back to sleep.

*Buzz* *Buzz*

I smash the turn off button and sit up tiredly rubbed my eyes then i stretched my muscles and got up from the bed walked towards to bathroom did my morning routine and then i made my way to closet decide to wear blue jeans with white hoodie and i wore my usual sneaker

I head to kitchen and i saw my mom and max as i poured myself a glass of water took a sip and sat down next to max "Did you sleep good" he asks "Like a baby" i replied he nodded with smile
