Arranged To Be Married (Editing)

Chapter 23

Few days past like blur. We all enjoyed alot and it was day to bid bye to our parents.
"Please don't go maa. Who will feed me yummy indian food now" I told maa, hugging her with tears in my eyes.

"This is the reason why she is leaving cause you make her cook indian food " Ruhan said trying to lighten the mood.

" Shut up Ruhan no teasing my daughter ", maa said and I showed ruhan my tongue.

"This is not fair maa. You always take her side " Ruhan said.

" Because she is always right " and I laughed at Ruhan's sad face.

"Came here son. Give me a hug " Maa said and ruhan happily walked in her arms and I smiled at that and we all hugged.

" Take care of each other. And be happy and blessed " she said and give us an envelope. After that they both were called for boarding and we touched both of their feets to get their blessing. I was unable to control myself and tears start pouring down.Maa hugged me tight and whispered in my ear. "Take care Beta and Don't cry, you are my strong daughter. We are just one flight away,whenever you feel homesick, just come and visit us", After that she blessed us both and left.
After bidding them bye me and ruhan returned back home. And was once again welcomed by silence of our house.
"These few days have been great", Ruhan said.

" I know. I'll also miss them both alot" I said and hugged him from behind, getting comfort from his embrace. And we both stayed like this for a while, supporting each other through silence.
After dinner ruhan reminded me of the envelop and we both opened it to find a 5 days trip to Santorini, Greece. With msg written "Enjoy your honeymoon both of you. We know because of shifting and stuff you both got busy. So this is a small gift from both of us. Enjoy your time. God bless you both with lots of happiness" and we both smiled at the warm blessing from our parents.

" Wow. This is the best surprise ever", we both said together.
As ruhan was very busy and already we have taken many leaves this month. So we decided to go their next month.
"what about last week? "Ruhan asked me.
" Last week seems fine ruhan " I replied and our trip to Italy is being set for last week of January. I am very excited for it. I always wanted to visit santorini with someone I love and I get this chance now. I thanked maa in my heart. This is like the best place for me to express my heart to ruhan.
Days past like this, Christmas came and then the new year. We spent our Christmas, meeting our friends and having dinner at our neighbours. I always wanted to experience true Christmas, I was always curious about festival of other cultures. I was really grateful to get this chance, to experience what Christmas feels like. I always liked gifting people secretly or becoming someone's secret santa. I feel deep happiness looking at surprised and excited smile decorating someone's face, as they open their gift. Right now I am looking at the excited face of my husband, as he is opening his gift and when he found it, he excitedly come towards me and lift me up, spinning me wildly saying thank you again and again. After all the gift was, Ruhan's favourite bike. I didn't do much in that. It was maa and paa who got it delivered here. And I'm really thankful to them. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't be able to see this beautiful smiling face of my husband.
"Mahi you are awesome " he said putting me back on ground.
" I know right. But maa and paa deserve the thank you more, because if it wasn't for them, I wouldn't be able to execute anything.",after hearing that my excited husband went up to call mom and dad and thank them.
After Christmas came ,the new year. Me and ruhan decided to go in outskirts of the town and spend our new year surrounded by million of stars. There is a beautiful cottage at the outskirts. We booked it and went to spend our new eve there. My dear husband decided to take his bike as according to him, he missed his Harley very much and don't want to part from her.
"But what if it snows ruhan? " I asked him. Trying to put some sense in him.
" Don't worry love, we will be fine. And the cottage isn't that far. We will made there on time. And you told me you want to learn bike. I'll teach you" he said looking at me expectantly.
Looking at his puppy dog face I nodded in yes and our journey started. One hour later, the snow start to fall but we reached cottage on time but the snowfall was still happening. I excitedly get off the bike and put my hand in front,trying to capture some snow, hoping to see a snowflake.
"What are you doing love? " ruhan asked me.
" Trying to appreciate the beauty of a snow " I told him and showed him.
" I have always loved nature. Everything that nature give us is beautiful. Don't you think the same Mr.? " I asked him
" Yeah it is the most beautiful thing in this world " he said. When I turned towards him, he was already looking at me, with this deep emotion, that started this weird feeling in my chest.
I turned away blushing.
After getting freshen up, we went around exploring the place. This cottage is so beautiful. After coming from sightseeing. We had hearty dinner and next day we returned back. Feeling freshen up. Wonders nature can do. After returning back, ruhan taught me to drive. Thankfully I didn't fall, as he was sitting behind me and hold the bike if I disbalances. Today made me feel that, this guy is my dream guy, he respect other gender as his equal. He has done so much to complete all my wishes, he even help me fulfill most of my bucket list. I am thankful to god for sending my own personal Angel.
