"I can't apprehend that the girl reflecting me in mirror is really the same girl at all. Where the hell is she behind this devastating disguise"
I want her back. I want it all back.
My bright blue eyes were sorrow and tired almost making them a shade darker, while my hourglass body was almost drained of muscles mass and left only with bones. It was as if all the joy was sucked down to an empty hole within only a deeper hole. God I sound like a dark empty person.. maybe I should call a psychologist.
Well my name is Diane Black, if the name didn't say it all maybe my appearance say just that.
"I'm coming mom!" I shouted. Walking down the stairs, I was welcomed by my lovable mom drunk as the day before, maybe more. I didn't really know at this point.
"Go up and change. This is your first day and people don't need a stripper in their hallway, Diane?" Heather said looking at me with a annoyed dismissive face.
My parents got divorced when I was five and well to put it nicely. It wasn't easy on a.k.a Heather the mom as the divorce was brutal. Brutal as in custody over me since I was their only child. Well it ended with my dad getting custody over me but I saw how it affected my mom and decided to say with her for couple of months.. wrong idea Diane.
"Diane?!" She shouted as a hand waved past my face, I came back to reality.
"I need to go. Bye Heather" I said walking past the kitchen only to see a scared maid. I realized why when I saw all the glasses and plates smashed down and broken.
But that was the new normal..
"I'm sorry" I told the maid as looked around, getting a little frustrated, while I was trying to remove some of the broken pieces. I stumble over the sharp glasses and fell. Well it couldn't get any worse.. could it?
The maid Joyce ran toward me and helped me up. At the same time my mom came in shouting "I'm tired of your childish behavior Diane, I'm your mom show some dis.." she trailed off as she notice the scene in front of her.
"Are you alright madame" Joyce asked. Looking me up and down to see if I was hurt. Her face stopped down to my left arm and I followed the trail, where small cuts were appearing.
"It's fine. Don't worry about it. It'll heal" i said smiling, as Heather was opening her mouth to say something more.
I wasn't going to stay for that so I walked up to the bathroom and fetched myself a bandage to cover up the cuts, which was already starting to bleed. A lot. Somehow in the process, I got a little lightheaded and hurried some more with cleaning the wounds. Finally wrapping it up. I opened the medicine cabinet. Well you could call it drug cabinet, since it was here my mom kept all her pills for sleep, anxiety, opioids, you name it. I took some pain killers and aspirin all at once while swallowing them with some cold water.
Running fast out of the tormenting hell house. I was met with fresh October weather only to be a little dizzy from the short run. I ignored it and followed the trail to my new school for the next, maybe? 3 years of my life.

When I arrived, everyone eyes was settle on me and for the first time ever, I felt uncomfortable and at the same time unease. Normally I wouldn't give a fuck but something bad and unsettling feeling was rilling up in my stomach, which I couldn't ignore. Maybe the pills are to blame.
Suddenly I felt eyes at my back.. which was making the back of my hair stand up. All the way up to my neck.
I turned my head to see the person and discovered a tall boy with dark ocean blue eyes with sharp cheekbones shaped with a chiseled faced looking at me. Our eyes met at the same time and somehow I manage to look away and pushed the door open into a hall crowding with students. That boy screamed trouble and my cautious told me to stay away from him.
