Chapter 30

"Wait... why didn't you tell me before" I ask

I should be running for my life but I wouldn't get away that's for sure and the tight hold on me wasn't the only reason why. He was the Lord. Nobody can escape the lord or that's what I assume...

"I wanted to know you first before I introduced myself. Some people isn't comfortable when they find out I'm the Lord" he explains and a shudder ran through me. His words caught me off guard and I mindlessly take a step back.

"Maybe you shouldn't had said that" I exclaim too fast. I should be luring him into think that I wasn't against the marriage so he wasn't suspicious of me running away. Yes I did tell him before I didn't want him but I could make him forget that.

"Why? are you uncomfortable because you look more scared" he tell me in mischievous way.

"Do you?" I ask instead. Ignoring his obvious answer.

He looks at me confused by my question so I ask him again.

"Do you know me"

His smile get introduced for the first time when he looks at me. It was like he waited me to ask him this question. Do The Lord have maximum power than a regular vampire? Another question come in to mind but anyone knows the question.

"Ask me after our marriage" he say with a wink and open the door. I stop at my tracks every time he increased his speed. I didn't know where he was taking me but If he wanted me then he would be getting all of me and a lot of headaches.

"Stop!" He turns around and whisper yell into my face. My heartbeat automatically starts beating faster at his demanding voice.

"I have access to every little thoughts of yours. If you want to see the light of day then stop resisting and do exactly what a tell you to do!"

"You can't expect me to give up everything for you. It's not even your child!" I yell back at him.

"I owned you the day you were born. This isn't any different from the fetus in you." he looks down at me like he's ready to punish me. How do I always make men mad so fast?

"I can't do this! No I won't do it." I try to push him away but my strength isn't back yet. I push harder and harder until it gets hard to breath so I stop and slap him with my free hand. I expected him to let go but his tight hold just got tighter.

"Stop it hurts" I whimper in pain but he doesn't stop he press harder on my pulsing veins in my wrist.

"Don't ever disrespect me again. I'm your Lord and you will obliged me as any mediocre vampire. This will be the last lesson of yours." he yell in anger and slap me in the face. If he wasn't holding me I was sure I would fall down on the floor.

Tears forms in my eyes as he walks again, the slap was burning in my cheeks, I reached up to touch it. It stinged and when I looked on my hand there was blood. My eyes widen, and I was sure that my right cheek was bleeding.

I looked down, afraid to look up to face him. My heart was arching to cry right here of all the pain I had endured in the short time being in Hollow.

The long hallway we had walked in was now filled with vampire, drinking up. I wanted to say alcohol but the sight of it made me vomit all over again. Instead I hold it and looked at them. As soon as my feet became closer to them their all eyes found mine or my bleeding cheeks. One dared to approach us but was shortcuttet when The Lord moves forward.

Somehow the others joined him and started charging us in full speed. They looked out of control and ready to kill me. It was tormenting sight of 30 person with eyes of blood.

I screamed as one got to me and yanked me away from the Lord. He tried to hold on to me but 8 vampires had pressed him on the floor.

I didn't know how they could attack their own Lord. Maybe I underestimated the vampires and the Lord wasn't as strong but just as the vampire holding me dig his fang into my neck someone came behind him and ripped his heart out. The sight of it was horrifying and made me scream my lungs out. When the body collapsed. I found myself face to face with William.

"Hello Princess" he smiles at me for a short time until it place with annoyance.

He reach out and hold my arm and pull me away from the vampires and the Lord.

"Don't you ever run away again" he yells at me in anger. I wasn't able to say anything.

"Diane! Answer me" he stops and look at me for a answer,

I looked at him for awhile and nodded. He wasn't glad by my response but started to walk again.

Until someone came behind me and held around my neck. I tried to push him away but William was looking at him in shock which made me want to see who it was. I turned my face of my attacker and found the Lord smiling down at me.

"I'm not finish with you yet" he whisper to me and hold tighter at my neck. Like he want to break it as William did.

I look back at William and his face has changed to anger now.

"Let her go" he demands but the Lord only hold me tighter by the second and I loose oxygen.

"Watch out William or I will kill her. Don't do anything stupid, like last time" he warn him

"She isn't yours"

"She isn't yours either. The only one who can claim her is your brother who is nowhere to be found" the Lord say and my heart start beating harder. Where is Elliot.

"Don't play games with me. She is rightfully mine and you know it! She was made for me! She will give you the child but not her!"

My eyes widen and I start fighting him off but it only deepen the pain on my neck.

"You really couldn't bargain when it came to your lovers. The child and the women stays with me"

I can see that William is ready to pounce at any moment but something is holding him back. He looks right into my eyes and I know right then that I rather want to stay with him than the Lord.

The Lord hold me tight until it get hard to breath.

"Let her go Jake!" this time he yells in anger

"I haven't forgotten you William! My name isn't your mouth to touch. Leave or I will make them hunt you for eternity and will die with you if you don't go now!" William looks at him hard and then turn to leave but before so he looks at me for the last time.

The Lord lets me go and I fall down the floor. Almost about to past out but the Lord pulls me up. I look at him and he flinch a little which only means that my eyes is doing it again.

"Relax Diane! You burning up" he shakes me but i'm just way to tired. I blink to stay awake, the burning energy surging through me it's draining me. I scream out when unexpectedly the pain starts to form in my stomach. The pain itself is about to explode and I don't now if I can hold onto it as the seconds pass. I look at him when he hold my cheek.

"I'm sorry" I hear him say, my brows furrows until he expose his fangs and dig them inside me.
