Chapter 10

I don't know how fast I'm running but I manage to get out of the house and carrying my legs toward the woods. It may be a bad idea since the woods and night together doesn't mix well but there weren't any roads or cars nearby.

Their mansion was covered with woods, it was overwhelming as I got further and further into the forest.

Maybe I should had thought more into this plan. Even though there weren't any great ideas other than escape from the Hunters, when the plan started puzzle together itself. Walking naked in the woods wasn't as great a idea either. I thought maybe if I manage to distract him, would give me a better heads up. I admit that I was desperate but I was prepare to take whatever I could in the moment.

Still running through the woods naked, my body finally gave in and reacted to the surroundings. All I saw was blackness around me, as a cold shiver vibrated through me. I need to come off these woods and into the road. Fast.

My senses told me that I was being watched... there could be vampires luring around these woods. After meeting The Hunters brothers, I'm sure that they would be clever enough to hire a security team of vampires to hunt their escaping preys or "pets".

I began run faster, not wanting to meet another vampire or vampires for that matter.

A moment later, my legs couldn't stands the burning sensations any longer, that formed inside my limbs. My breathing was a burning fire inside my throat. Screaming at me to stop so I stopped and took a moment to let fresh air sink into my lungs.

All of sudden a car sound came in touch with my ear and my eyes shot up to the spot the sound came from. To my left there were a road, few cars drove by with white-yellowy flashing light streaming through the trees.

I don't know how I missed it, it could be because of the overwhelming forest with possibility of vampire that clouded my vision.

I forced my legs to move toward the road. As a smile started to form onto my face. I realized that I was soon to be free.

Middle of the road, I started waving my arm at the upcoming car toward me to stop. I know that I'm standing naked middle of the road fully exposed, but my freedom towered my exposed nudity.

Plus, if it was a man behind the wheel would my chances of getting out of here be higher. Though it looked it was a girl which is better actually. I would like to have a company of a girl after meeting those assholes.

"Are you okay" the girl asks with a worried face. Taking me in as I wrapped around myself by the cold and exposure.

Not sure what to say, I nod and she offers me to come inside the car. I obliged and open the door to the passenger seat. When I sat down, she handed me some clothes. That was odd? Why did she have extra pair of clothes? I don't bother to think more of it or ask, there is probably a great reason behind it. Maybe it's from fitness or a training practice. She did look fit from what I could see from the dark.

She started the engine and began to drive, while I put the clothes on. The clothes were a little big but it was only some black leggings and a black tank top. When she saw me shiver, she offered me a leather jacket and I thanked her and took it.

"So what's your name" she asks, still looking at the road ahead.

"Sorry, I'm Diane" I tell her. She nods and tell me that her name is Claire, then asked me where my destination was.
