Vampire?!?
The car stops making my head hit the car wheel. I hiss at the sudden pain. I hold my forehead, feeling hot liquied run down my face. I curse under my breath.
"Diane" I hear someone say at the backseat. I turn around slowly, scared of the realization that he really is a vampire.
"I'm sorry. I wanted to tell you before but Dad insisted on keeping it a secret.." He's calm even though i'm bleeding. My eyes are fixed on his blood red eyes as I listen. I have to many questions in my head as I look at his vampire state. My own brother is a vampire... however I can't speak.
"I'm aware that the Hunters brother is after you Diane. I've been watching you, trying to protect you from them but they can't know about me. I want to tell you more about the situations you are in but it looks like you first need some help. Those drugs won't help you Diane. They will only make your vampire powers enhance and you can't handle that much power. It would kill you". I was frozen before but know I felt anger, boiling anger.
"You know about me? You knew about all of this and still you didn't reach out" I yell "Did you know how scared I was? Huh, how much pain they put me in? Do you think this is just a show? A movie that is there to entertain you? Do you Jake" I yell and want to just lash out on him.
"You need to calm down Dian.." he tries to reach out but I push him away.
"Calm down? You want me to calm down!" I'm in hysteria right now "How would anyone be calm in this situation? I'm being hunted by two vampires trying to punish me for even existing. Do you know how that feels? One has already abandon me and the other almost killed me?"
"I know Diane but they won't hurt you anymore. Come inside again and I will tell you everything. I will protect you. They won't find you here" he looks at me with sincere eyes but I can't trust anybody. Especially him... all this years I believed I was human and now I'm a monster.
"Why am I like this?"
"Dad made us Diane. Mom don't know anything but something tell me she found out. I was still watching over you both. After I saw mom collapse and all these stupid choices she made. I realized that she found something but she's trying to avoid it. She can't handle it Diane"
"Dad.. our dad? The one who took me to the carnival every birthday? Taking me to bed, reading me bedtime stories? The one who would protect me from anything? Do you really think I would believe that. He may have punished you but don't blame this on him Jake!"
