Diane looked at the empty halls, lessons had started but her legs wasn't moving. She wasn't sure if it was safe for her to get another interference with Elliot or William. But she moved her legs shortly after knowing that being alone in the halls only would endanger her more.

When she finally stood in front her assigned class. Her heart started beating millions times a minute.

She was observing her risks of getting abused or assault again as she they were the only thing that was happening for her.

Nothing good did happen in the short time she had been here. She wondered what could cause this problematic claustrophobic when she had done nothing wrong. She was a girl that got into a relationship with a vampire but that didn't mean she could be attacked or be assaulted for nothingness.

Her head started spinning, all this thinking was doing her nothing good. She needed to be stronger and teach them that she couldn't be messed with. This was the day where the Hunters would leave her alone.

She stood up straight with her chin up high and forced herself into her next nightmare.

When she came inside, and walked over to her table she notice that William wasn't in his assigned seat. He was sitting next to girl. Diane didn't know her but she had seen her around the halls couple of times.

The girl had long strawberry blonde hair with light brown eyes. She was a little taller than her. When she diverted her eyes from the girl and onto William. Her heart stopped for millionth time, he was enjoying her company, they were laughing. She had never seen him laugh or seen him with a genuine smile before. Who was that girl?

The scene made her cringe and sit back but it also made her a little jealous when there was nothing to be jealous of.

They were enemies. What she should be feeling was disgust toward him.

"I'm sorry, class. Something came up so please in the meantime occupy yourselves. I suggest you all read chapter 76" Mr. Brown explained and then took off.

The students in the class sprang in joy and started getting to conversations about the next party and their opinions about shoes and clothes etc.

A guy approached Diane. She look up to see his face and rolls her eyes.

"You new right. I'm Elias Clarke" he smiles as he introduces himself and I don't how but that make me smile.

"Yes, I'm Diane Black"

"Your name suit your well" he say and grin

"I think that to" I say and chuckles

"Great to see that we see eye to eye"

We stare at each other momentarily and I see that he is full of confident but he also seem to be really sweet, which is refreshing. We both can't stop smile as we look at each other. His smile is contagious!

"I would like to invite you to a party this Friday" he says and sit next to me.

"I'm sorry, but I don't par.."

"Hello, Diane"

We all know who that voice belong to. I don't bother recognizing his present. Elias notice this and ignore him as well. It surprises me that he do but I only find him more amusing.

However William don't, he pulls me up from the seat but this time I don't let him get away with it. I slap him and push him away from me.

Elias gasp as well as our classmates.

"This is the last time you touch me or I'm going to the principal. I won't tolerate more of you harassment"

He's about to speak when his eyes leave mine to someone behind us.
