Chapter 3x1 - Robbed?!

"Hayami!" Zayn shouted, expecting an answer. Complete silent concerned both of them.
Kane hugged the wall and quickly peeked around the corner. A lizardman with green scales covering his body and two humans with black robes stood behind Hayami. She was tied to a chair, screaming for help. Zane looked back, panting. He stared at Kayn. Kayn looked down on the floor with his white hair covering his face. He stepped out of the corner to reveal himself.
"There he is, now let's keep it simple, kid. Give me all your coins and valuables, and we'll only cut one limb of your friend here," The mysterious lizardman said as he scoffed. Kayn slowly raised his head, twitching. His right, blue eye began to glimmer and shine brighter than before. With a red face and an icy stare, Kayn looked them all in the eyes as he put his hand together to form a prayer.
"Don't. Touch. Her." The lizardman chuckled. Blue sparks began to jitter around his hands.
"Soulo Assassination. Paralysis shock," he whispered as he stared them all in the eyes. All three of them looked around them, terrified.
"Stop messing with us, ki-" the lizardman said as three loud thuds echoed through the rooms. Zane and Hayami both stared at Kayn with widened eyes. Kayn fell to his knees, panting. Zane ran over to him and barely able to speak, he said
"Wha- Ho- Are you doing fine?" Kayn rapidly panted and nodded in embarrassment. Zane rushed to Hayami, quickly untieing her. In relief, Hayami hugged Zane. Unable to move, Zane stood still with red cheeks. Kayn stood up, breathing quicker than ever he shouted
"They won't be asleep for long! We need to get a guard!" Zane nodded his head as he sheathed his newly bought katana and ran out of the house.

"Over here!" Zane shouted as he guided a guard in the house. The guard stared at the three unconscious bodies with surprise. He nodded and pulled them all to a carriage with bars.
"You did great! These three have been going out robbing the weak." The guard said, wiping his sweat. He threw them a bag of coins as a reward as he closed the door behind him. Hayami grabbed the bag of coins with glimmering eager eyes. Kayn was sleeping on the couch.
"I have never seen that magic before!" Zane shouted as he spoke to Hayami.
"Shh! Don't let anyone know. Kayn is a part of the Soulo family. Son to the legendary assassin Jax. The family became suspected of killing a royal member. That means no talking about his past near others!" Hayami whispered to Zane. He stared at her with excitement in his eyes.
"What was that magic," Zane said whispering. Hayami swiftly replied
"That's their family technique. Kayn has only mastered the first stage of it." Zane looked Hayami in her pupils with flashing eyes. She blushed and looked away. Hayami scooted the chair backö and stood up with a gaping jaw and shouted in agony.
"The Hunter exams are tomorrow!" Zane giggled as she rushed behind the desk and brought up a flask with a green liquid in it.
"Here, drink this," Hayami said to Kayn as she handed him the flask.
"No. It's too expensive to waste on me," Kayn replied, almost whispering. Hayami shouted
"Hunters' exam is tomorrow!" Kayn's eyes quickly widened as he grabbed onto the flask and chugged it down.

10 minutes later

Kayn rapidly stood up without any pain but nausea. He ran towards the kitchen and said
"Come! We need to train!" as he grabbed and pulled Zane on the arm. Hayami waved as they both left. Kayn took the lead and wandered with Zane behind him, confused. They arrived at an open grass field with a clear sky and flowers. Zane looked around with an irresistible smile on his face as the peaceful breeze of flavored flower air hit his face.
"Ouch!" Zane shouted as Kayn swung his bamboo stick onto Zane's leg. Kayn threw an identical stick to Zane. Kayn ran forwards, thrusting with the bat towards his head. Zane tilted his head by a hair and dodged. He quickly took a grab onto the stick and chuckled as he went in for a sweep attack. Small lightning sparks began to travel through the rod and hit Zane.
"Ah!" He shouted as he whipped his hand in the air.
"That's cheating!" Zane shouted. Kayn chuckled and took a stance, awaiting for Zane to take the first hit. Zane leaped upwards as he swung his stick mid-air, targeting his head. Kayn's eyes widened as he attempted to deflect the blow. With a force advantage, Zane pushed hard enough to break the bamboo stick in half. Kayn surprised stared at Zane as he giggled. Kayn began to jump sideways slowly, confusing Zane. Kayn increased the speed greater and higher until it became so fast that afterimages appeared. Zane became dizzy trying to follow Kayn with his eyes. In no time, all the afterimages disappeared, including Kayn. He looked around, trying to find Kayn in fear. A light breeze of air hit Zane's neck, alerting him. He looked behind him immediately only to see nothing. Zane felt the pressure of the stick on his neck. Kayn twisted released a shock of lightning through the stick onto Zane. Just as the lightning hit him, a cloud of white dust appeared. Kayn's eyes widened as he looked behind him to see Zane holding his stick along his neck in victory.
"Wa-Was that a clone?" Kayn asked in defeat. Zane giggled and smiled as he replied
"Yeah! I just did the same thing that Gin did." Kayn grasped Zane's shoulder as he said
"Do you have any idea how rare it is to have that kind of magic!" Zane chuckled as he shook his head. Kayn buried himself in his hands out of annoyment.
"We can finish the exam together!" Kayn shouted. Zane stared at Kayn with a big smile as he attempted to hug him. Kayn, with red cheeks, dodged every hug he tried to give.
