Chapter 3x2 - Hunter's Exam!

"It's time," Hayami said as she sighed. Zane and Kayn nodded. Zane scratched his head and said
"Thank you for helping me." Hayami giggled and ran to the both of them and squeezed them both in a tight hug. Zane and Kayn's cheeks turned red out of embarrassment and Hayami waved as they both closed the door behind them. Zane exhaled as he said
"So... where do we go?" Kayn sighed and half-shouted
"To the hunter's hub" Zane scratched his black and red hair and chuckled as he marched away behind Kayn. As they arrived halfway there, Kayn said with a droopy body.
"So, how did you even learn to make a clone? even royal mages can't" Zane stared at Kayn
"I just thought about how Gen did the clone, and it just happened," Zane said confused
Kayn lost his temper as he shouted in Zane's ear
"Who is this Gen you're talking about!" Zane sighed as bonked himself on his head.
"Oh, I never told you. He is my master! He helped train for like two days" Kayn stared confused at Zane. He tilted his head dumbfounded as he said in relief
"Two days? That doesn't mean he is your master, idiot" Zane looked down at the ground as he thought about what Kayn said. He shook his head and shouted
"There it is!" Kayn nodded as they both ran towards the door. A large man covered in black clothes put his hand in the air, stopping the boys. They looked confused at him as he said.
"Sorry, kid. It's the hunter's exam today. All quests are down at the moment." Kayn said
"We're gonna participate in the exams" The man with widened eyes began to laugh. Kayn's face turned red and covered in anger. He held his arm out with lightning circling it. The man's eyes widened in fear as he moved out of the way and let them in. Zane giggled that made Kayn laugh proudly.

Loads and loads of people covered the entire room. They struggled to get through, and Zane said
"Are all of these people joining the exams?!" Kayn nodded. They almost fell to the ground as it began to shake. Everyone in the room stared confused as the man behind the desk left and closed the door. Cracks began to appear on the floor, and after a moment the ground started to crumble and fall. Zane rubbed his head in pain as he stared in front of him to see all of the people that would join the exams. Kayn gave a hand and pulled Zane up from the ground.
"Where are we?" Zane said, confused. Kayn shrugged as he looked around to see a long tunnel without an end. Everyone around them began to stand up as they rubbed their head. A boy that was a bit taller than Kayn and a man stood up, and the boy whispered loud enough for Zane and Kayn to hear
"This is just a part of the test." Zane stepped up to the two and said
"Really?!" They looked confused at Zane and his red eyes. The boy said
"Yeah" Kayn covered his face with his hands and told the boy as he scratched his head
"Sorry, Zane here is a bit" Kayn followed up by making a circling motion with his finger around his ear. The man laughed, and the boy just stared with a straight face.
"I'm Yagami, and this is Crollo," The tall man said as he pointed at the boy. Zane looked confused at Crollo and said without thinking
"Are you a boy or a girl?" Crollo sighed and replied slightly annoyed
"I'm a boy" Zane nodded with a smile on his face and noticed how Yagami burst out in laughter.
"What do you mean this is a test?" Kayn asked Crollo as he stared into his eyes. Crollo answered
"Did you see how the hub master left the room as we fell to the ground? That means that this was intentional" Kayn stared at him with widened eyes. They all looked around to find a clue. There was nothing but a long and what seemed to be an endless way. Crollo stared closely at the long road and said
"It's not endless." Zane, Kayn and Yagami looked at Crollo impressed with sparkling eyes. A scream echoed in the tunnel, and they all quickly looked. A man with ears and tails shouted in pain as he grasped on his shoulder. The man had no arm. Everyone backed away apart from a strange man with pink hair and wholly white and pale skin. A teardrop tattooed to under his eyes. He had white baggy clothes. Zane stared at him and said
"Is that a clown?" All three of them nodded in answer. The clown looking man chuckled as he began to run in incredible speed throughout the tunnel.

"Let's also go!" Zane shouted. Kayn, Crollo and Yagami nodded as they began to run. Everyone behind them shook their head out of fear and began to run too.
"When will this end?" Yagami said as he breathed heavily. Kayn stared at him and said
"We have only run for like an hour" Zane ran with a smile of excitement on his eyes and asked
"Why are you guys taking the exam?" Crollo looked at him and replied
"The tier V quests are too easy, and I'm taking the exam to get access to the above" Kayn stared at him in surprise and whispered to Zane
"He is stronger than a tier V warrior" Zane's eyes widened yet again in excitement.
"I need money to achieve my dream! Start my own blacksmith business!" Yagami struggled to say as he ran. Zane glanced at him with sparkling eyes and said
"That's so cool!" Yagami smiled and nodded. Kayn picked up the pace and said
"I want to get stronger and have fun!" Zane stared at him, and his face turned red out of embarrassment. Zane then said lastly with a straight face yet filled with sorrow
"I want revenge" they all looked at him and then ahead of them as they sighed.

One hour later

"It's never-ending!" Yagami shouted as he barely could breathe. Zane, Kayn and Crollo stared at him with a straight face and with no struggled continued to run. Zane looked behind them and saw that a lot of them could barely run, and many fell behind. The clown man stopped in front of them. Everyone also took a step back in fear. Zane and the others continued without thinking as they saw something in front of the clown. Two creatures with a body that looked like a dragon, but it was human-shaped. Kayn quickly noticed what it was and said
"Tha- That's a Dragonborn warrior!" Everyone stared at it with startled eyes apart from Zane. The clown slowly approached the Dragonborn as everyone watched with widened eyes.
Zane stepped up and followed. Kayn, Crollo and Yagami had no choice to follow him. Yagami smiled as he finally had time to breathe. The Dragonborn stared down at the clown. The mysterious clown man pulled out a green card out of thin air and threw it into the Dragonborn's body. The Dragonborn shouted in anger and pain. It used its tail to sweep attack the clown until it froze and could not move. The clown began to walk past it. Everyone stared at it, confused. When the clown walked far past it, he held out his hand and immediately the card flew right through the Dragonborn's body and landed in his hand. The Dragonborn began to move in anger and pain. It ran towards the rest of the group. Zane, Killua, Crollo and Yagami stared at it with fear as it ran towards them with an axe.
