Chapter 4x1 - The Twins

A sphere of purple flames surrounded the two girls as they floated in the air. A loud honk traveled through the forest, the game had begun.
Zane shouted
"Watch out!" As he vaulted in the air and pushed Crollo to the ground, barely dodging a bolt of flames. Crollo stared at Zane and nodded in appreciation. They revealed themselves from the bushes and took a stance. Chains revealed themselves from Crollo's sleeves and rapidly traveled through the air with a sharp edge attempting to break through the sphere of flames only to thrust oppositely. Kayn took this chance to run behind the girls making no sounds with his footsteps. He leaped into the air, slashing through the wind in an attempt to hit slice the sphere. A large arm began to take shape, and with fear, Kayn tried to move mid-air. The hand made a grasp of the boy's neck, and in no time, he choked as his neck burnt. The grip quickly let go and disappeared. There were two Zanes who sheathed their swords, and one of them vanished into a white cloud. One of the girls giggled and said calmly
"It seems that you have found the only thing that can penetrate this ball of life," Zane chuckled proudly and stepped back to the rest of them. Kayn whispered in their ears
"Why am I always the one getting choked" Zane burst out in silent laughter and said
"What is the weakness she is talking about?" as he stared into Crollo's and Yagami's eyes. They had widened eyes filled with surprise, and Crollo said
"Y-You can use clone magic?!" Zane nodded with a smile on his face. Crollo whispered
"That clone magic you used was wind magic. That probably means they are weak against wind." They all nodded, and Kayn said
"But, who can use wind magic here?" Crollo chuckled and pointed to Yagami that froze as he scratched his head and sighed. Yagami jumped out of the bush and shouted
"Wind Slash!" A green blade looking figure appeared and launched itself towards the girls. They stared at it with a smile. The wind slash missed as the girls in the sphere moved entirely out of the way. They all stared at the girls with a gaping jaw.
"They can move the ball! We can't find them, we need to fl-" Yagami shouted as he was interrupted by pain.

"Yagami!" Crollo shouted as he stared into the purple blade that impaled in Yagami's chest.
"Do-Don't worry about me, kill those bastards," Yagami struggled to say. Crollo nodded, and with anger covering his face, he shouted as he lifted his head, revealing a shining blue eye.
"Nano chains - Magic prison!" The girls stared at Crollo in fear as they have seen that face before. A chain began to uncover itself and shoot towards the girls. They flew around with the ball in an attempt to dodge it, only to realize that the chain followed them at a higher speed.
"Ahhh!" The blue-haired girl shouted as she suffered from a chain that took a grasp of her heart. The girl coughed blood and began to dry up. Crollo cut his chains and fell to the ground. The ball became weaker as the blue-haired girl fell to the ground, unconscious with wrinkles all over her. Crollo fell to the ground, and black began to cover his eyes.
The pink-haired girl stared at her friend lying on the ground in pain. She shouted in agony as swords made out of purple flame shot towards the group at high speed. Kayn started at Zane and said as they dodged the swords
"I'll get the headband on the blue-haired girl, and you'll distract the other one!" Zane nodded, and Kayn ran towards the blue-haired girl with swift speed and dodges. Zane unsheathed his sword and deflected all the magic weapons. Zane shouted as he ran to the floating ball of flames while dodging and deflecting the attacks and slid under the ball with his katana held straight up. A large cut opened in the ball, and the girl screeched as a thud echoed when she fell to the ground. The ball faded away slowly. Zane rested the sword on the girl's forehead, and in defeat, the girl gave him her headband with extreme fear in her eyes.
"Ho- How did you cut it?!" She shouted terrified. Zane chuckled as he said with a big smile
"I just borrowed my clone's katana" She looked Zane in the eyes with confusion 
"Yo- You're not supposed to be able to do that!" The girl shouted in surprise.
"Wait, you took her out!" Kayn shouted with a smile on his face and a headband around his hand. Zane nodded proudly and handed Kayn the headband. Zane ran towards Crollo and Yagami. He stared at Yagami with the hole in his chest. Yagami pointed at a mysterious blue mushroom with white checkered marks on it. Zane pulled the fungus out and looked confused at it and Yagami. Yagami said as he coughed blood
"Pu- Put it inside me" Zane stared confused at Yagami when he said that. Kayn rubbed his forehead and grabbed the Mushroom from Zane's hands, and shoved it in the stab wound.
"This will reduce the bleeding and have a quicker heal," Yagami said, barely struggling as he closed his eyes. Crollo's eyelids gently raised in fatigue. He sat up from the ground, panting and said with a big smile on his face.
"Well done, guys" Zane and Kayn nodded with a concerned face and Zane said
"Should you be standing up already?" Crollo chuckled and said
"I might be all out of magic, but I can still move," Kayn nodded and helped Yagami stand up with a mushroom head sticking out of his chest. Yagami grunted in pain as he took a step forward.

"Here, take this Whetstone and sharpen your sword," Yagami said as he handed Zane a small gray slab. Zane proudly knew how to use this tool. He sat down with his sword pointing downwards and dragged the stone along the edge, sharpening it. Zane saw it shine with sparkling eyes and gave the stone back to Yagami. Kayn pushed as he hid behind the bushes and saw the Clown man fighting alone against a group of 4 men with a body of rock. The clown smiled that covered his entire face. Fearless, the group ran towards the clown with their axes pointing forward. The clown had his arms crossing each other like an 'X' and twitched his hands only to reveal two cards on each side. He dragged his arms along the other and threw the cards in swift speed and precision. Blood splattered on the clown's face as they all fell to the ground with a thud. The tall clown grabbed the headbands and walked casually, deeper into the forest. Kayn, Crollo, and Yagami stared at the clown with widened eyes and fear while Zane looked at the four lying on the ground with blood dripping. Zane attempted to run and help them only to get pulled back by Kayn.
"We can't show ourselves yet," Kayn said while staring into Zane's red eyes. A tap on everyone's shoulder quickly got their attention as they all turned their heads in fear and surprise; they saw the clown.
