At the end of the day,  I head out with Cheryl and Toni to the car.

"You've decided to join us today?" Cheryl asks with a hint of sass.

"I need to get clothes. I've had to resort to Betty's things." I laugh at their eye rolls but Toni seems happy.

"Sweet Pea really likes you. I can tell." She says and Cheryl scoffs.

"I think everyone can tell how much he likes her."

"She isn't wrong." I give Cheryl props for bluntness.

"I mean emotionally,  I think he is getting attached to you." Toni clarifies. "It's going to suck when you leave."

"When do you leave?" Cheryl asks.

"Sick of me already?" I smirk.

"It's hard to get sick of someone who is never around. But no, cousin. I like having you around. Another girl was needed. The serpents were about to drown us out."

"Hey, I'm a girl!" Toni defends.

"Please, TT. As much as I love you, we both know you are A. the man of this relationship and B. as much of a man as Jughead and his serpent playmates.  And Betty, though female, is nothing like any girl I have ever known. Veronica was all I had before Heather and she wasn't much." Cheryl becomes extra catty as she explains her struggle and Toni looks slightly offended. As Cheryl and I get out, Toni backs up and heads off down the road. "Was it something I said?"

"I don't think your girlfriend likes being called a man."

"I didn't-"

"You did."

"I need to do major damage control." She sighs.

"You could start with apologizing and not relying on basic heterosexual concepts to apply titles to your relationship," I suggest.

"I hate it when you're right. I wasn't trying to do that. I've just never had this kind of thing before. I've liked girls but I always suppressed it. She's the first one I have ever fought for."

"Then don't let your efforts go to waste. Let her cool off and then win her back. She's a girl, Cher. She likes girl things as much as you do and sometimes girls like to feel like a princess." I point out and she nods.

"Heather, dear. Sheriff Keller left you this and wanted me to tell you your parents are in town. You can meet them at pops." Penelope Blossom greets us from the top of the stairs in a questionable get-up.

"Mother, why must you drag my name into the ground with your pathetic brothel?" Cheryl asks. My eyes blow wide at her question. The outfit was promiscuous but I just thought maybe it was a nightgown.

"Not everyone can have everything given to them, Cheryl. You should appreciate that I work for you to live the way you do."

"Please, mommy. You like this disgusting, disgraceful, hobby you have picked up." Cheryl and her mother bicker mindlessly in my presence. Cheryl finally finishes it and leads me to the garage to another car. She asks if I can drive to which I nod and she passes me the keys. I head off down the road to pops and when I get there, mommy and daddy are sitting in a booth next to each other, deep in conversation. When I get inside, I notice some familiar leather jackets. Toni, Jug, Sweet Pea, and Fangs are discussing most likely Cheryl's mess up. I pray they don't speak to me and they don't. When Toni and Jughead spot me, I gesture for them to keep quiet and they do, carrying on as nothing has happened.

"Baby!" Mom squeals in delight and a smile graces my face. I hug her quickly and take my seat across from her and dad.

"How have you been, sweetheart?" Dad asks me.
