Book Review:
Midnight Paws is a fantasy book which introduces an unheard-of legends of the Navajo tribe (Native Americans). It circulates to a female protagonist destined to play a crucial role in the future, all the while finding her identity. The challenge for the author is to relay the story, with her own flavor in it, to the readers effectively. Especially, those who are not familiar with the topic. Though, the author obviously did some research, since, she is not Navajo herself, which is impressive, by the way.
Additionally, she got the creativity since almost everything (except for the deities and their names) are from the author's imagination. With some improvements the book will succeed.
I can say that the book is a gem. Some rough polishing and the shine will be undeniable. Before the actual action begins, let's ready ourselves with some warm-ups!

COVER:
Covers play a vital role in catching a reader's eyes. Staring at the book cover, it gives me the impression to slide it up to see the next story on queue. It just includes a picture of a blue-eyed cab with the title on a handwritten font style. Except for the color of the eyes, and the type of animal, there weren't any clues given to seduce the readers into reading the book. It was simple and plain. I suggest the author should improve her cover. Also, the cover might look even better if the author includes an image of a a girl near a cliff or somewhere she'll that she'll look unearthly beautiful. You can put it as an overlay to the original cover, too.
TITLE:
The title Midnight Paws is one thing that I really like about the story. It intrigued me. It made me want to delve into what the story could offer me in just one sitting. My curiosity sparked and urged me to ask questions like, "What is with midnight?" And, "Why is the word Paws included?"
