Summary

"Welcome to California, home to infamous serial killers who've taken the countless lives of gang members throughout the state.

For months, their existence has been known, yet the police have been incapable of finding any leads - other than the dismembered bodies left at their doorstep, of course.

'California Butchers,' the public calls them.

Soon, people realize that these serial killers wield magic. In this world parallel to our own, magic is known and creatures roam alongside humans. They're hated and feared. Why? Simply because they have the 'upper hand.'

Luna and Draco Yang are one of these creatures. Hiding their true nature from the public, they battle with their fears of being arrested, discriminated against, or even more horrifically - captured and sold to be studied.
The Yang siblings won't tolerate it though. They'll fight fist, gun and magic to keep eachother safe.

One things for sure. They'll either go down fighting, or not at all.

Book review

The cast from hell and paradise is a fantasy/thriller/mystery book featuring the perspective of two people.

Luna and Draco Yang - powerful magic user's who use their talents to serve mafia bosses and assist in their interrogations, torture sessions and killings.

Ramos and Ray - homicide case investigators that are grappling to find leads - any leads - on the 'California Butchers.' Struggling with the public becoming increasingly impatient and their spiraling home lives, they must maneuver carefully through California's crime system. Playing with the wrong people might let them end up dead.

Cover

The cover is honestly misleading. The title is easy to read and your username is on it, but it shows an image of a flower. While it may look pretty, the book definitely takes a one-eighty turn from being flower-like to slaughter-fest. Get a cover to subtly reflect that. Maybe a flower in a pool of blood, or something even relating to the plot. There's many graphic shops on wattpad - finding them shouldn't be too hard. ^^

Title

The cast from hell and paradise, on further inspection, makes sense. The cast from hell is (spoilers!) Luna and Draco while the cast from paradise is Ray and Ramos. (Pardon me, this is just how I interpret it.)

Its attractive and pulled me in the first time I read it, so kudos!

Blurb

I'm sure you noticed the way I tweaked it in the 'summary section.' Your blurb contains all the elements a good blurb should - characters, motives, plot, ect...

However, let me let you in on a little secret. In a blurb, it's important to make it eye-catching and informative. That's where formatting comes in. Seperate sentences that you think are going to hook your audience, and put them on their own separate line. I've personally noticed that my attention seems to jump to shorter, more impactful sentences. In your blurb, this phrase:

You've reached the end of published parts.
