Chapter 2: Search

I looked at everyone, they look tired to find that girl. Why was I born a werewolf? Why am I not destined to be with the one I love?

If it were only me they wouldn't have searched. I'm already tired with my useless life. I do not want to be a wolf, hairy and disgusting to look at.

"I know you like Lucky, Britney but if Lucky finds his mate. Let them be happy, he's your friend and I know you wouldn't want anyone to hurt him." Cara suddenly jumped beside me. She can read based on the actions and opinions of others.

"I know, but if he isn't happy. I want to give him the happiness he deserves." I told Cara and drank that softdrink I bought.

Since our conversation yesterday we have started observing the possible people.

We split up to observe what Alice mentioned.

Cara and I have Natasha. Morgan and Jazper to Sharmaine. Alice and Hanz to Sophia. Edward, Lucky and Dominic to Felicity.

Lucky said he will be one of Felicity's observers, and Edward and Dominic would accompany him just in case something went wrong. They saw Felicity's ability so their powers can absolutely help each other if Felicity finds out.

"As far of our observation, Natasha has a small chance to be Lucky's mate." Cara yelled out.

"Yeah, she's physically strong but not strong enough. Maybe she just got her strength because he's the captain of the volleyball team. "I added.

"I bid on Sharmaine to be the 10th member. In Morgan's stories, Sharmaine seems to be strong." she said while drinking her juice.

"Leader of a gang? Has a Dad who is a Mafia and punches anyone she sees as a threat?"

"Yeah, while the one we're stalking is pretty much girly." I nodded in agreement with Cara.

I looked at them Lucky in the far corner of the cafeteria. They were laughing and talking about something else than Felicity. It would have been impossible for Lucky to smile that way if Felicity were talking about it. Dominic is laughing but I know he can see Felicity even when he is not facing her. Edward laughed as he read the book.

Felicity was eating all by herself. I once noticed that every time a student asked if he or she could sit she would shook her head and continue eating.

"You're so observant when it comes to Lucky and Felicity. Do you see her as a threat?" my fist was aching at Cara's question.

"Sometimes you really don't know how to shut your mouth." I said and looked at her badly. She laughed slightly and just ate.

I looked at Lucky again and saw that they were approaching us with his eyes staring at me. I felt my heart skip a beat, Lucky really has an effect on me.

They sat at our table. "I vote for Felicity to be the 10th member of the gang." Dominic said that made me fume.

"Guys !!" call Morgan approaching us with Jazper.

"What is it?" Cara asked him.

"I heard there will be an underground battle Saturday night!" she said excitedly. She was jumping while holding Jazper's hand.

"That sounds cool. Who will join?" asked Edward.

"Sharmaine and Felicity I think? I'm not sure." I suddenly lost my appetite when I heard her name again. It's getting under my skin and I'm hating it.

"Great. Let's settle this, we watch them fight not over who wins the two. Then let's talk after the battle. The person with the most votes from us is the 10th member" Jazper said. They all nodded.

"Where's Alice and Hanz?" Morgan suddenly asked

Of course I haven't seen them since we broke up.

"Storage room, garden.." not in Jazper's citation. We all looked at each other and parted in search of them.

With Cara and Jazper now, the two vampires separated for a quick run in two groups. I can't seem like a wolf because we're in school so maybe we can report it and we will

"What did you saw?!"

"We're going after Hanz. It's up to Lucky to save Alice. Hanz is bleeding he was hit by a rock on the head. Alice is in danger!" He ran like a vampire when he saw that no one was around. Cara and I had just followed a man who was capable.

"Wait," Cara said and stopped running, stopping me too.

"He didn't say where he was going?" I guessed and she just nodded.

"I can smell him from afar don't worry come on!" I said and ran ahead, Cara following. The university was quite big so it took us a while.

We caught up with Jazper who was tasting Hanz's blood. Cara and I had just met her.

"Britney, make sure no one is around, I'm going to cast a spell to heal Hanz." I just nodded and looked around. Cara pulled out her book and started over.After Cara did that I looked at Hanz's condition. He's still unconscious, but I know Hanz he'll fight.

We ran back and unexpectedly saw Felicity carrying the unconscious Alice. She was approaching us still with her bitchy face.

"I found her in the stock room while searching for Sophia. Don't worry, Sophia will no longer bother anyone anymore." she said and at exact time, Lucky and the others arrived

"We couldn't fin--" Lucky are what he was about to say when he sees Alice's body on Felicity's arms.

She just rolled her eyes at Lucky and hands Edward the body of Alice, without any words she left the scene again.
