"WHERE THE HELL IS THE BOOK?!" the young werewolf shouted to the female. Pulling his hair in frustration.
"I DON'T KNOW, WHEN I CHECKED HIS LOCKER IT WAS ALREADY GONE!" Britney shouted with same volume and intensity, defending herself at the angry colleague (she doesn't know if they're friends at this point.)
"THIS— THIS COULD PUT LUCKY'S LIFE IN DANGER. THIS CAN LEAVE BIG CONSEQUENCES THAT CAN KILL US ALL."
"What are you doing?" the male werewolf decides to reveal himself after long minutes of watching the female from afar.
Unfortunately, the sudden voice made Britney jump from where she stands, dropping the book that she was holding, landing on Dominic's foot.
"What the fuck!" she groaned, attempting to grab the book but the male's hands grabbed it faster than her.
Staring at the cover, his eyes grew more confused and worse, furious. Those orbs containing such strong emotions stared at the other werewolf's eyes.
"Britney, what the hell is this?" he raised it up to his shoulder, showing her the cover of it.
"Give it back!" she attempts to take it from his grasp but the male was so much taller than her adding the fact he raised above his head.
"The Rules of the Gates?!? Where did you get this??" his voice furious, deep, and menacing making the female stop the failing attempts to steal it back.
"This is forbiden from everyone living and dead! Why do you have this?!" he said, repeating the question to the now tamed werewolf.
Dominic never got mad at her like this. She hated the fact that her system always longs for his approval. That she'll feel dirty whenever she does something against his will. She hates it.
The male takes deep breathes, calming his system. But mostly, not wanting to hurt the girl if he loses over his anger.
Slowly, he puts the book down, stopping when it's in front of his chest. He looks at her eyes again, now full of something different and she can't put her finger into it.
"I... I'm going to trust you on this. You do what's right or what isn't. I hope you know what would be the consequence." he slowly hands it to her.
He watches, every move, in those few seconds. He doesn't know what to feel, he's confused. His body had a mind of it's own, his legs slowly moves backward, his body turning around.
He couldn't bear to see her face, he couldn't bear to feel the feeling of trusting... but at the end, it was taken for granted.
'I hate every reason to hate you but I can't bring myself to it. Because I've always believed and loved you because of the same reasons.'
With shaky hands, she claims the book again. She felt nauseous just by holding it, she felt like she's about to burst into tears, she felt dirty...again.
Because slowly, she puts the book to the locker she was about to put it on ealier if Dominic didn't come. She never thought she'd be more unsure in her life.
Her mind ends up in confusion, trying to balance the decisions. Seeing him walk away made her weak. So weak that she fell to the ground of an empty hallway.
Britney the werewolf, with the strongest will and mind. One of the most heartless creature in hell and on the entire universe. She's deadly and terrifying in form and not in form.
But why?
Why does she grow weak and useless. Why is she shaking and tired. Why does she want to cry. Why is she longing for someone that doesn't mean anything to her.
Her gaze moves from the ground up to the man already a few feet away from her. She lifts her palms as if trying to grab something that was so near her grasp.
Unconciously lifting her body and with shakey limbs, she chased after him.
'I want to hate you because you're always against me. But I can't out myself into it I love you for the same reason.'

Planning on editing this for plot purposes. Dw this won't habe a significant change on the overall plot but it does allow more scenes for the upcoming plots I'm writing, it also gives more meaning behind different parts.
