Bitter Words Underneath Sweet Wishes (Part 1)

             "Oh no, we are out of ink, Mr. Makoto could you bring ink from store room?" Honda asked. Makoto said yes and went to the store room.

             While he was coming from store room, he passed through main hall where Sayako was counting the big sacks of grain. "What are all this big sacks for?". Makoto asked. "Oh, Mr. Makoto this sacks here are of grain, and this are going to be sent to the  public, and also to those families which had to deal with ogres and their fierce attacks." Sayako said with saddened voice.

             "Wow! Lady Kurome is so kind. Makoto exclaimed. "She does it every year on her birthday but this year we have to increase the amount because of ogres attack, I hope at least this will help them a little bit, Lady Kurome especially visited this families I hope this would comfort them." Sayako said with gloom. "I hope that happens soon". Makoto said with low voice and see Sayako off and went back to library.

             "What happened? what's wrong? Mr. Makoto" asked Honda as Makoto came back. "Oh, nothing I just had this conversation with Ms. Sayako about those sacks and the families got attacked by ogres and stuff". Makoto got tense. "Oh, yes it is very sad, isn't it?, This year is a little hard for Lady Kurome to celebrate her birthday while this things going on, that's why she is trying her best to help the situation." Honda said.

They got back to making invitations.

On the birthday ( Morning),
Everyone said together "Happy Birthday Lady Kurome" as Kurome entered the main hall. She got suprised and said Thank you to everyone and Akio and Kurome sat on sofa and start their breakfast served by Sayako. "Sayako, did you sent out those sacks of grain?" Kurome asked. "Yes, Lady Kurome they left early this morning". Sayako replied with smile.

           Kurome said thanks and Sayako left. "Kurome this kid Makoto, his name sounds familiar, who is he?" Akio asked. "Oh, so you are familiar, well actually he is from Amphitere domain and he is the son of viper." Kurome said calmly. "You mean he is Tahio Saito's son!!!" Akio got suprised. Kurome said Yes. "But how he got here?". "Well.....," Kurome explained everything that happened. "Oh, what happened with him was so bad." Akio said. "Until his parents aren't found I guess he is staying with us." Kurome said with a smile.

In early evening,
Birthday party starts and guest starting coming. "Wow, so many prestigious guests are here." Makoto said to Sayako. "Yeah. Sayako said. "The party is starting!!!!!" Sayako and Makoto said in rhyme with joy.

             Every guest had arrived and the birthday girl walked down the staircase to main hall. She was looking so beautiful in long black gown and her hair down and as always wearing her dragon symboled white jacket. Everyone couldn't take eyes off her.

              "Oh my god you look so beautiful Kurome-chan!". A lady with short blue hair around twenty above wearing yellow cream gown and wearing dragon symboled jacket, suddenly came and hugged Kurome. "Thank you so much, Aoi-chan. Kurome said. "Happy birthday Kurome-chan!, I brought lots of present for you. A man was handling big tower of gifts that you cannot even see his face. "Uhhh...you didn't had to. Kurome said in surprise. "I also bought lots of present." Akio said with a smirk. Two men were holding towers of present. Akio and Aoi were staring down each other with death stare. "Now, now you two calm down and thank you so much for the presents.

           "That lady with blue hair is also a dragon, right?" Makoto asked. "Yes, she is Fairy Dragon, she supplies pharmaceuticals
to all the domains and her domain is the one from all the healers come and she is the close friend of Lady Kurome's." Honda replied.

             "If you two are done I would also like to give gifts to Dragon Hydra." A broad voice came through, A man wearing a white suit and dragon-symbol jacket having blonde hair around thirties said. "Good evening, Dragon Amphitere!!!!" Kurome said with tense voice yet a smile on her face and said thank you as she saw a man holding presents behind Amphitere. "Sayako take all those presents away." Kurome said.

Sayako were taking all the presents and Makoto was helping her. Makoto looked at Amphitere with a blank look. "Oye, Makoto be on guard around them." Akio whispered in Makoto's ear as he was keeping gifts away. Makoto nodded yes and kept gifts away.

              Everyone wished Kurome, and the big chocolate flavoured cake was cut by Kurome. After that every guest was showed to dining room. After they all sat the delicious dinner was served to them. Kurome was entering the room then she saw Makoto standing with Honda, "Makoto you are also sitting, go and grab a sit." Kurome said with smile.

          "No Lady Kurome I shouldn't......,". "Makoto, don't forget who you are, you are viper's son, now go and sit. Honda will handle this. Right Honda." Kurome said cutting off Makoto. Honda do slight bow and nodded yes, Makoto sat on the chair.

             Kurome came to head of the table and said in higher voice,"I thank you all for coming to this party and for your great wishes, please enjoy this great feast" and she sat on chair.

           "So Dragon Hydra I was wondering why this party is happening here and not in your Central mansion?." Amphitere asked. "Well I had some work here, that's why and coincidentally my birthday was near." Kurome answered.

             Amphitere said with slight smirk,"Oh is that so or because there was ogre attack happening." After hearing everyone was looking at Kurome with questioned eyes except the tense faces of Akio and Aoi. "Well that issue has been solved, and the casualties with civilians are also well handled. Thank you for your concern though." Kurome answered with a big smile.

           Shutting him off, with smirk she said, "But I also heard that one of your village got completely burned down I hope you have took account of that incident." Everyone got shocked and looked at Amphitere asking him an explanation
