Code Blue

Ezra walked from Fortune's apartment to Mika's house. It took him two hours. He got lost twice, but he didn't care. He was heartbroken and almost regretted what he had said to Fortune. Almost.
It was 1 am when he finally walked through the door. He was met by a every tired and worried Mika. "Where have you been?? Fortune called and told me what had happened he said you left two hours ago!"

"I got lost," Ezra answered as he went over to the couch to lay down.

"You got lost? Why didn't you call me? Or your brothers? Ezra?" Ezra was asleep. Mika grabbed a blanket and threw it in him. "Goodnight," he said before heading to bed.

The next morning everyone filed into Michael's hospital room to wish him luck with his surgery. When Mika hugged him Michael broke down. "I know love. I'm scared too, but I know you'll be okay." He kissed Michael's forehead and wiped away his tears.

"I love you," Michael said as Mika started to leave the room.

"I love you!" Mika replied as he left.

Four hours later Fitz came into the waiting room to a bunch of tired and worried faces. "He's fine. The surgery went better than expected. 90% of the tumor was removed. So, once the biopsy results come back we'll know our next step. The nurses are just finishing getting him settled in his room. So, about ten minutes you can all head in there," Fitz said and instantly relieved the stress in the room.

"Dr. Fitz to room 502. Dr. Fitz to room 502, code blue." Fitz eyes widened as he darted to the room. It was Michael's.

"Isn't that Michael's room?" Fortune asked everyone. Mika nodded his head.

"What's code blue mean?" Jacob asked.

"Don't worry about it Jacob," mama said as she kissed his head and comforted him.

"I'll be right back," Mika said as he rushed to the bathroom were he broke down.

"Mika?" Jacob knocked on the door and walked in. He ran over to Mika and instantly hugged him to comfort him. "He'll be okay. You said he would." Mika calmed down and hugged Jacob tighter.

"Let's go see what's going on," Mika said as he wiped his tears away.

When they came out of the bathroom their was a nurse their explaining that it'd be longer before they could see Michael because he went into cardiac arrest. He was now okay and breathing, but Fitz had to make sure it wouldn't happen again.

40 minutes later Fitz came back out. "You can go in, but don't upset him in anyway," his eyes immediately went to Jacob. "That means you Jacob. Don't get him worried or anything. 30 minutes and then he needs to get some rest, okay?" Everyone nodded as they got up and made their way into the room.

Michael was talking to the nurse. "Hey love!" Mika said as he rushed to his side. He kissed Michael's lips.

"Now his left side of his body is weak and his speech is off a bit, but with rest and therapy it'll come back fast. It'll take time and a lot of support," Fitz told everyone.

"I love you," Mika told Michael.

Michael tried to smile, but it was weak.

A tear fell from his eye and Mika brushed it away, "it's okay."
