Today is the third task! And I am so nervous! And I only had, like a month or so to prepare! Because of stupid exams I only had some of May and June to prepare! The good thing about today was that the task was later so I had some time to get swallowed in my thoughts and worries! So that's great! I was snapped out of my thoughts when a felt a pair of strong arms wrap around me. I giggled and turned around to look at his grey eyes.
"Hey baby. What you up to?" I murmured.
"Just worrying my ass off." He said trying to be nonchalant. I tilted my head and sighed.
"You shouldn't be the one worrying."
"But I should be. I mean why wouldn't I be worried that my girlfriend, the love of my life, is going to be facing some dangerous magical shit! And the worst part of it is that I can't help you! I don't know what you are going to be up against so I can't prepare you!" He said panicky. I looked at him, he looked miserable.
"It's okay love. I'll be fine, I mean I handled dragons and angry grindylows for crying out loud! I think I'll be able to handle whatever the task throws at me." I chucked a little.
"Yeah I know, you are strong and amazing at magic. But I'm still worried." He mumbled the last part. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pecked him on the lips and put our foreheads together.
"I'll be fine." I whispered. He nodded saying that he was done arguing and I pulled away.
"I have to go, Kira and Hermione are going to train me for a while before the task." I said before waving goodbye and heading out of the common room.
I walked to the courtyard, which was where I would be training, and I saw a very panicky Kira pacing back and forth.
"Hey Ki. Where's Mione?" I asked.
"She can't come, she is training Harry." She said a little frazzled.
"Kira calm down I'm going to be fine." I said walking up to her an placing my hands on her shoulders. She calmed down a little and nodded.
"Okay, lets get to training. Show me.... the blocking charm." She ordered. I nodded and did the blocking charm with ease.
*After training*
"Okay that's enough. The third task is in 45 minutes." Kira announced. I nodded and started walking back to the common room where I changed and put my hair up.
I walked down from the dormitory where, unlike last task, I saw my boyfriend sitting on the couch. I walked over to him quietly so he couldn't hear me and started to kiss his neck gently. He didn't say anything, he just leaned his head toward mine and sighed in pure bliss. I giggled into his neck and laid my arms across his chest. I broke the kiss and my lips still lingered on his neck for a bit before I pulled away.
