Harry POV:
"Hermione already answered that." I said pointing at the ripped piece of paper. In Hermione's handwriting it spelled: 𝑷𝒊𝒑𝒆𝒔
"It's been using the plumbing?" Ron asked looking up at the ceiling. I nodded.
"Wait, the girl that died 50 years ago died in a bathroom. What if she never left." I said looking at Ron.
"Moaning Myrtle." He concluded.
"All students must return to their house dormitories at once! All teachers to the 2nd floor corridor immediately!" McGonagall yelled through the halls. I gave Ron a confused look and started running toward the 2nd floor corridor.
We were about to edge a corner when I stopped. I saw McGonagall and all the teachers rushing over to a wall with red writing on it.
"As you can see the Slytherin heir has left another message!" McGonagall said gesturing her hand toward the wall. It read: HER SKELETON WILL LIE IN THE CHAMBER FOREVER
"Our worst feat has been realized, a student has been taken by the monster into the chamber itself." McGonagall whimpered. My eyes widened.
"Students must be sent home, I am afraid this is the end of Hogwarts." She sadly sighed. Then Lockhart cheerfully strolled up to them.
"Sorry dozed off, what have I missed?" He asked with his 'famous' smile.
"A girl has been snatched by the monster Lockhart your moment has come at last." Snape said in one breath. Lockhart's face turned from joy to fear.
"My m-moment?" He shuddered.
"Weren't you saying just last night that you knew all along where the entrance to the chamber of secrets is." Snape stated. Lockhart had a face of fear.
"That's settled, we'll leave you to deal with the monster Gilderoy. Your skills after all are legend." McGonagall mocked.
"Very well, uh I'll just be in my office um.... getting ready." He said with a small smile and walking away.
"Who is it the monster has taken Minerva?" Madame Pomfrey asked McGonagall.
"Rose Weasley." She said with a sad sigh. They all scurried off. Our eyes widened. Rose!
"Rose." Ron whimpered. I looked around the corner to see no one there. I started running toward Lockhart's office with Ron sprinting after me.
We got to Lockhart's office and saw him packing up his stuff.
"What are you doing?! What about the monster?!" I yelled. He looked at us but continued packing.
"I am taking a rain check." He said.
"I didn't know what I was doing when I took the job." He stated packing his many books in his trunk.
"You're leaving?!" I yelled.
"What about my sister?!" Ron shouted.
"What about all that cool stuff you did?!" Ron yelled.
"Do you think I actually did that?! No one would have read my books if I didn't do the things I said I did!" He shouted.
"You're a fraud!" I yelled. (Author: I don't really remember this next part, sorry)
"Fine!" He admitted.
"Is there anything you can do?!" Ron shouted.
"Yes, a matter a fact I am rather good at the memory charm." He said going into his robes for his wand. Me and Ron both pointed ours at him before he could do anything.
