chapter 11: My new companion is my best friend

last night i had a pleasant dream about my new companion. the Zoroark that calls him shayn. he is my best friend and ive known him since i was very small. this was when he was still a zorua.... he made a promise to me when we were small. that he'd become my partner as a pokemon and a human. ive given up on that when he moved away but now look where he is. he is now my partner.

my eyes open slowly and i look at a red furry chest. i raise an eyebrow then i realise its shayn and i look at him. he looked down at me and smiled. "your awake" he said and my eyes widened. "s-since when are you awake?!?" i asked putting my hands on his furry chest pushing myself slowly away. he chuckled. "since a few hours i guess........ i dont sleep often" he told me and i laughed a bit and sat yup stretching my arrms in the air realising im in my pj's. i dont remember changing. i looked at shayn. "sh-shayn?" i asked him and he looked at me. "hmmm....?" he said and i glared at him standing up. turns out im only in one of his long shirts that reach down to my mid-thighs. "d-did you change me last night?" i asked him and he sat up quickly and rubbing his claw at the back of his neck smiling guiltyly. my face went red glaring at him from embberassment. "Y-YOU PERVERT!!" -i screamed and then he flinched a bit. i grabbed my clothes that lied on my chair and ran out of the room and all he heard waas a door slam. that was me in the bathroom. i locked the door.

fennekin looked at shayn and shook her head. fennekin sighed and sat infront of shayn. she started lecturing him and giving out to him in the pokemon language. he nodded. "okay~ i wont do it again geez....." he said and sighed as there ws a knock on the door. he yelped a bit and turned into his human form getting down the air matress and lieing on it. "y-yes?" he said and my mother opened the door. "shayn have you seen lulu i heard a scream" my mother asked and he shok his head. "she is in the bathroom" he said and she smiled. 

there was a knock on my bathroom door. "who is it?!?" i asked making my hair for the ice cafe. i slipped on the uniform and i heard my mom say there was someone at the door for me to collect me for my job. i quickly tied a bow on the ribbon as i made my ponytail look good. i rushed into back in my room and looked at shayn. shayn looked at me up and down. i was in the waitress uniform although im a cook. sometimes i am a waitress and sometimes not it tepends on how many people there are. he arched an eyebrow. "and where are you going?" he asked and i smiled at him "to my job.." i said getting my hand bag and putting my pokemons pokeballs in there and shayn eyes noticed me picking up his pokeball and putting it in my pocket. "im coming too?!?" he aske and i looked at him. "your my pokemon you have to" i said and he smiled and vanished into his pokeball. i rushed out the room and down the stairs. my mom gave me a smiled. "eat" she said and i brushed it off "ill eat once im in the cafe dont worry" i said and hurried out. the minute i got out shayn's pokeball wiggeled and i took it out. i could hear his voice through the pokeball. "is it really okay for you not to eat?" he aske and i smiled. "dont be so worried i always do this" i told him and then his pokeball wiggeled again and i put it in my pocket. 

i got to the turn off and shayns voice was able to be heard again. "so who was calling for you?" he asked and i shook my head. "i dont know but they left when i opened the door" i said and then someone pocket me in the side and i screamed. i looked beside me and it was keelan. "did i surprise you?" he asked and i glared at him. "keelan!! dont scare me for god's sake!!" i shouted at him walking off stubornly. he ran after me. "hey i was joking....... what happened to you yesterday?" he asked and i shrugged. "i was at the river" i said and i felt shayn's pokeball wiggle and i had an angry face on me taking it out and sticking it in my handbag. "you be quiet!" i murmured and keelan looked at me. "hey that looked like a new pokeball. let me see that." he said and i stared at him. i took out the pokeball."turn into something other then yourself or your human elf please...." i murmured and the ball wiggled. i threw it in the air my fingers crossed and a rhyhorn stood infront of me and i smiled. keelan raised an eyebrow. "i didnt know you were into rhyhorns..." he said and i laughed. "oh im not this is just my friend's pokemon im taking care of" i said gritting my teeth and clenching my fist hiding my anger. i saw shayn's sweat drop and i knew he was thinking "the wrong pokemon to chose". we walked to the ice cafe noticing the alleyway. i smiled at it and keelan looked at me but then looked at shayn. he kept looking and looking. shayn staring him down and back up. i looked at shayn and petted him. "good rhyhorn" i said while petting him and then he returned to his pokeball and then we went in the back of the cafe.
