This oneshot is mostly written for myself lmao. Leon is literally my favorite character in the game! Without further ado, enjoy!

(Y/N) and Leon have been best friends since they were kids. The two of them were literally inseparable. Wherever one was, the other was sure to follow.

As the two grew up, both became more attracted to the other, but they were too shy to tell each other. However, one dragon tamer ended up changing that.

(Y/N) was making idle chat with Leon as they walked through Hammerlocke, until suddenly...

"Hey, (Y/N)!" Raihan called, wrapping his arms around her waist, effectively startling her. Her cheeks turned a bright crimson as he laughed at her blush. "R-Raihan! Wh-why'd you h-have to scare me like that!?"

The dragon type gym leader chuckled. "Because you're just so cute, I can't help it!"

Leon clenched his fist, feeling his anger rise. But why? What was making him angry? Was it you? Was it Raihan? Was it both? He tried to figure it out, but for the life of him, he couldn't point out the true reason.

"Anyways, cutie, what have you been up to?" Raihan said, winking at her. (Y/N)'s face was beet red at this point.

Leon's anger rose. He had no idea what to say, but he was so close to punching the dragon tamer.

"Wh-what!? C-cutie...!?" (Y/N) squeaked, looking down at the ground to ease her nerves a bit. He'd never acted like this towards her before. Sure, she'd seen him flirt with other girls, but flirting with her? That was unheard of. However, Raihan tilted her chin up to look at him. Her lip trembled in nervousness, and she bit it to hide the fact that it was quivering.

"You don't have to hide that gorgeous face from me," Raihan flirted, which sent Leon over the edge.

"(Y/N), can I talk to you for a minute?" Leon finally said, sounding a little angry.

"O-oh, u-um... y-yeah, s-s-sure," she said, overwhelmingly nervous due to how he said those words.

"Great," he said, grabbing her wrist a bit harshly.
(Y/N) stumbled a bit before being able to catch up. Soon enough, he stopped behind a rock, where they couldn't see Raihan.

"L-Leon...? Wh-what did you want to t-talk abou— MMPH!" Leon had her pushed against the rock, holding her wrists above her head as he kissed her roughly. She stayed still for a few seconds, in shock, before kissing back. When Leon pulled away, he stayed inches away from her face and let go of her wrists, putting an arm above her head.

"Sorry. I couldn't hold back any longer. Seeing you two act like that together, I... I couldn't handle it. I don't know why I'm acting like this." (Y/N)'s face was redder than a Cherubi. She knew exactly why he was acting this way now.

"W-were you... J-jealous...?" She asked.

Leon thought about her statement. Jealousy? He'd never thought about that, but now that he looked at it more carefully, it made perfect sense.

"Y-yeah... I guess you could say that I was jealous," the champion admitted, chuckling softly with a small blush, now giving her space to move.

"But, I also thought Raihan would hurt you..." Leon had a small blush on his face. (Y/N) smiled a bit. She thought that was really cute, and very sweet of him. She placed her hands on his shoulders and got on her toes to place a gentle kiss on his cheek. The champion looked down at her, slightly shocked.

"Th-that's really sweet, L-Leon..." Leon couldn't take it anymore. He had to ask her out. He didn't want any other man to see that adorable smile, taste her delicate lips, or even think about touching her.

"(Y/N)... I know this is kind of out of the blue, but... Will you be my girlfriend?" (Y/N) smiled shyly and nodded, hugging him happily. Soon enough, the two of them walked back over to Raihan, hand in hand.

"Finally! I was waiting for you two to get together!" Raihan cheered, making the two of them blush. Leon started marching his way over to Raihan furiously.

"Leon, nO—"
