Ancient Greece

His hands were around her neck. His grip getting tighter and tighter. He could feel the life draining out of her.

"Do you think killing me would bring back your mother, Namjoon?" she said to him, still trying to fight him off.

She knew it was pointless. She was human after all, albeit having a grandfather who was the Sun God. So she decided she would use what she knows against him. She whispered something into his ears and Namjoon jumped back in pain. His body felt like it was burning and he staggered back towards her.

"You may have the strength, Namjoon, but let me remind you who I am," she said to him as she staggered away from him.

She held her hands up and started chanting and the room had an eerie glow. Namjoon couldn't move any of his muscles. He couldn't even change into his Wolf.

"I see Hecate's magic still lives within you," she said again. "But you are not of her blood, so your magic would not work on me."

Pain shot throughout his whole body. Namjoon closed his eyes. He knew he couldn't fight one of the Sun God's granddaughter, so he let out a sigh accepted the fate that he would soon join his mother in the underworld.

He opened his eyes when he heard a deafening scream from Medea. She was suspended in the air, her mouth was wide open, her pupils dilated. Her body was flung across the room by an invisible force.

Namjoon realised that he could move his body again and he shifted into his Wolf form. He was much stronger and faster in his Wolf form.

"Kill her," he heard a familiar voice in his head. "Make sure no one in her bloodline survives. That would be your service to me, Wolf. She and her kin need to die because of what she has done."

Namjoon's Wolf bowed and lurched forward towards Medea.

Modern-day, somewhere in East Asia

"We got her concerned," one of the Vampires said.

"You go that way, and I go this way. That way we won't lose her," said the other Vampire.

Further up ahead, a White Wolf's pace was slowing down. She has been running from the Vampires for days and the Dark Magick that was cast on her was starting to take over. She could feel the heaviness of the spell slowing her down and she knew what would happen if she did. She told herself all she needed to do was get to the Alpha's ground and seek refuge. She will be safe, but it was still a long way to the grounds and she didn't know how long more she could stay awake. It was the full moon and she pulled all the powers from it to continue to move forward.

"She is slowing down," she heard one of the Vampires say. "We got her now."

The White Wolf felt one of the Vampire's arm grabbing hold of her hind legs and bit into her. She howled in pain and kicked the Vampire in the face. Vampire bites are usually lethal to werewolves. Their venom would start to poison the wolf's body and they would die a horrible death.

Her body slowed down and started to lose consciousness. Her breathing was heavy. The two Vampires were now hovering over her body. She slowly waited for her death.

"Let her go!" said someone in the shadows. Her vision was blurred, a sign of the Vampire's poison starting to affect her, so she couldn't make out who it was.

"She is ours, Wolf," said one of the Vampires.

"I said, Let. Her. Go," he said again, this time with much authority. Two wolves, one black and one white appeared by his side.

The Vampires disappeared quickly. They knew that they were outnumbered and they were not stupid enough to go up against an Alpha and his two strongest wolves.

"She has been bitten," she heard the Alpha said. "I think we have to take her back to the house quickly and see if Gran can heal her with her magick."
