"We are going to miss you so much, Y/N," said my boss, Arthur, whom I have known for the longest of time.

I met Arthur when I was still studying in college. I was always hanging out at the local library. Growing up, books were my only comfort. They took me on adventures and let me feel alive through the characters. When I went to college, the books I read changed to research journals and reference books. Arthur helped me a lot during those times, it was he who inspired me to be a librarian just like him so I can help connect people with knowledge.

It was my last day at work. After a year of constantly being watched by Namjoon's wolf pack, I caved and finally agreed to quit my job and agreed to work from the grounds instead. The Brothers were very, very happy when I told them. They would have thrown this going away party if I allowed them to. Jin especially, he loves a good party.

"I will come and visit whenever I can, I promise," I told Arthur and he shot me a "you better" look and gave me the biggest brotherly hug ever.

Yep, I will miss coming into work.

The party went on longer than anticipated. Who knew librarians knew how to throw a party? This party certainly did not fit the stereotypical description of librarians. It was already dark when I left.

I could feel Namjoon's presence as soon as I walked out the doors. The bond that we used to have was still not fully working from what had happened to me a year ago. I can feel his presence but still not hear or feel the emotions of his Wolf unlike before. Honestly speaking, I think anyone would feel his presence. He just has this aura about him.

Namjoon was leaning against his car, pretending to read when I saw him. I could see his dimpled smile from behind the book. God, those dimples will be the death of me, and he knew it too.

"Had fun?" he asked leaning in to kiss me on the cheeks.

"Yeah," I sighed, "I will miss coming to work every day, though."

Namjoon just stood there in silence but I could see the glint in his eyes that he was ecstatic

"You are happy about this aren't you?" I said, annoyed and he pulled me into his chest.

"Damn it Joon! You play dirty!" and he laughed. I breathed him in. He smelt like the forest after the rain. Earthy.

"Come, let's go have something to eat," he said as he opened the passenger car door. "How about we go to that little barbecue place we went on our first date?"

"Fuck," I said and covered my mouth. I forgot that Namjoon usually doesn't like people swearing around him. He eyed me sideways and I gave him my brightest smile. He rolled his eyes at me and I knew, I was forgiven.

"I am sorry I forgot," I said to him softly not looking at him.

"Forgot what?" he asked though I know he knew what I was talking about.

"It's the anniversary of our first date today isn't it?" I whispered, knowing that he would have heard me with his wolf hearing.

He nodded his head and he reached out his hands and linked it with mine and kissed the back of it.

"I'm sorry Joon. I really am not good with things like these."

"Hey, don't worry too much about it. I wasn't expecting you to remember it anyway," he said trying to cheer me up.

"But isn't it a girlfriend's job to remember these things?" I argued.

"The most important thing to remember is that you are here now and that you have all day tomorrow and the rest of your life to make it up to me," he said wagging his brows at me.
