"Hi, Y/N," Yoongi said as soon as I entered the gym. I knew he heard me coming in the house for our daily training. It has been at least 3 months since we started. I was starting to love the routine that we had.
Training with Yoongi is no walk in the park. He started teaching me Jiu-Jitsu where you use the opponent's force against themselves rather than using your own force.
"Most of your opponent will be stronger than you, so I want to teach you how to use their strength against them," he explained when I asked him why Jiu-Jitsu.
I bowed and we started doing the warm-up exercises.
Halfway through our routine, Namjoon entered the gym with Jin. Suddenly, I was self-conscious because I never had anyone else in the gym when Yoongi and I are training. Namjoon leaned against one of the equipment, smiled and gave me the thumbs up. I blushed and roll my eyes at him.
"Why are you here?" I asked Namjoon, sipping my drink and trying to catch my breath from the laps that Yoongi has asked me to run.
"You'll see," he said.
"I hate that I can't read your thoughts anymore."
"Me too," he replied, gingerly wiping the sweat off my forehead with the back of his hand.
Namjoon and Jin joined us for the rest of the training. I have to admit, these guys were strong and fast. They didn't even break a sweat from the training. The bastards.
"Y/N," Yoongi said looking down at me as I was lying down on the floor hoping that my heart would somehow stop beating so fast. "It's your grading day today. You will be sparing with Namjoon this afternoon to see how far you have come."
"What?" I said sitting up in disbelief. "But we have been training together, Yoongi."
"Yes, and you got used to the way I train with you, so we are going to try something different today ok?"
Namjoon walked into the middle of the mat and bowed and I did the same. He winked at me and I groaned in protest.
"Remember what I taught you," Yoongi reminded me from the sidelines.
"You are having fun aren't you," I said to Namjoon who was now grinning as he straddled my body on the floor.
"I don't think it's fair that Yoongi gets all the fun," he replied. "You are, after all, MINE ."
I grunted and we started sparring. I knew he was going easy on me.
"You can do better than that, Y/N," he cooed in my ear as I try to figure out a way to get him off me. He continued to egg me on and I tried my best to pin him down. As I turned and twisted, I could hear Jin trying to suppress his giggles. I manage to wiggle myself from under Namjoon only to be caught by my wrist and he pinned me down again. He grinned at me as he used his legs to trap my hands to my side.
"You are enjoying this too much, Kim Namjoon," I yelled at him, frustrated with the situation that I am in.
He leaned in and kissed me on the lips and then I remembered something Gran had taught me one night. It was a spell that would give my opponent a jolt of my magick. It was not enough to hurt someone but it was enough to give them a shock-like feeling that you get from static electricity. Smiling I whispered the spell and Namjoon he shot up. With Namjoon confused and stunned, I gripped the front of his shirt, pulled him forward and use that momentum to shift myself on top of him.
"Nice trick, Witch," he said smiling, obviously happy with what I had done.
The buzzer on Yoongi's watch buzzed signally that our sparring session was over. Namjoon and I both stood up and bowed.
