Roman had become quieter lately. He had stopped singing, he began skipping breakfast, and he didn't talk as much. Virgil seemed smuger, and more mean towards Roman, along with becoming meaner to Patton and Logan. But of course, Logan just called it a phase, and Patton just brushed it off. They had been together for more then 2 years, and slowly, they had been less like themselves. They started fighting infront of everyone, Blaming the smallest things on the other, punching and hitting eachother, and fighting every minute. It just got worse. One day, they were fighting, and Virgil stepped over the line, and then kept running past it.

Virgil laughed when Roman called him a meaningless side.

"Didn't Logan already prove i am a side that's needed? Jesus, do you understand anything anymore? It seems the more we fight, the dumber you get!"

Roman hands turned into fists as he stared at the taller side. He knew Virgil was right, but he wouldn't let it bother him.

"Well, uh, you are just an asshole! You never let me talk to anyone without you there, and you don't let me have any friends besides the light sides, and.. and.. you never let me sing anymore, or go anywhere without telling you, and-"

Roman was getting happier, since he was finally making a valid point. Virgil's smug face was replaced quickly by anger.

"Why do you never SHUT UP?!"

And Virgil grabbed Roman by the throat, pinning him against the wall. Roman desperately tried to get Virgil to let go.

"No, you deserve this. And once you're dead, I won't have to hear your annoying ass voice anymore."

Roman whimpered slightly as everything started to go black. The last thing he said before passing out for good, was:

"Please."
