Plague

Tessa groaned as the officer grabbed her arm, roughly pulling her out of the back of the car. The police officer walked over to the other side of the car and did the same for Luke.

"Ah dude! Don't you have a soft side?" Luke groaned as the man walked the two kids to the door.

Simon sat in his lounge room Watching tv. Lauren, his girlfriend, was busy cooking in the kitchen. They had a maid for that but Lauren insisted she loved to cook. Simon, having eaten her food before, didn't argue.

Simon got up off his chair once he heard the door bell ring. He walked through two rooms to the corridor then stood at the door. He swung the door open to find a distorted Tessa and her blasted boyfriend in the hands of an unpleased policeman.

"Uncle Simon." Luke nods in greeting.

"Simon." His niece nods.

Simon grits his teeth. If it weren't for the fact his girlfriend hated it when he yelled, he would be screaming."It's MR. Cowell to you, boy." He looks at Luke, trying to intimidate him. Then he looks to Tessa. "And it's UNCLE Simon."

"Cowell." Tessa grins as she nods to her uncle.

"Simon." Luke nods, just to irritate him farther.

"Sir, hate to break up your conversation but... These kids were found at a local club." The policeman lets go of the two kids.

"They're only 17. Why were they allowed in?" Simon asks, trying not to loose his temper.

"These would be why." The man hands Simon two ID's. Simon takes the cards in his free hand and looks at them closely.

"You made... Fake ID's." Simon states, again trying not to blow his top.

"I'll leave them to you then, sir." The officer says, walking away.

"Wait! He's not-" Tessa leaps to cover her uncles mouth with her hand.
"Please Simon. Just please." She begs. Simon forwards his eyebrows at her, confused. Tessa slowly removes her hand.

"Have a good day, Dave." Simon waves to the officer. The man walks back toward his car.

"You know the dudes name?" Luke asks. Simon glares at the lad.

"Go home, Luke. And do NOT show your face at this house again." Simon sneers at the lad.

Luke rolls his eyes then looks to Tessa. He smirks, grabbing her by the hips and smashing his mouth against hers. Just to spite Simon even more, Luke starts moving his lips against Tessa as she does the same.

"GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!" Simon finally screams, unable to hold it after that. Luke jumps slightly away from Tessa, then smirks.

"Good day, Simon." He grins as he starts his long walk home.
After closing and locking the door Simon looks to his niece. Tessa rolls her eyes and starts walking to the basement.

"No ya don't." Simon says sternly.

"What do you want?" She spits, not caring if he's her uncle.

"A club?" Simon says in disbelief. "Tessa, you uses to be good. You used to love having friends that were't... Punks. You used to love hanging out with me. What happen?"

Tessa's nose flare as she breaths heavily, holding back the tears she forbid to let out. "I GREW UP!" She screams in her uncles face with no shame.

"That's not growing up! That's... That's not even living! Your parents wouldn't wont you to be like this!" Simon says back, in a slightly lower tone then hers.

"How dare you talk about my parents." Tessa sneers in a low voice. She says the next part in a low slow tone while staring right into his eyes, "I hate you." With that she runs to the basement where she locks herself often.

Simon stands in the corridor, tears coming to his angry eyes. He didn't know were he went wrong. He had no clue how to raise a girl who's parents died when she was eleven. He had no clue what to do other then yell and hope she'll change back with time.
