The clouds were all she could see. It was like snow was everywhere she looked out the planes window, but it was really clouds. The sun set was orange, making the clouds some how look purple and orange together. It was beautiful.Tessa had asked her uncle to bump the flight back home up to that night. She didn't want to stay in the hotel without the boys. Even if it was just for one more night. After the boys left it was like the hotel was empty, even though it was almost packed due to the holidays and it being a five star hotel. Of course her uncle was all for her coming back early, he was worried. Even though he wouldn't admit it.
"I don't get why you just don't wear it." Dylan says from the seat next to Tessa. Thanks to Simon loving his niece and being a tad bit over protective, they got first class on the way back. So only two seats in a row, no older guy between the two girls.
Tessa knew her friend was talking about the white sweatshirt she held bundled up in her arms. Tessa looked back down to the sweatshirt that she treasured. Because then it might loose his scent, She thought to herself. Tessa shrugged, not wanting to voice her thoughts and have her friend laugh at her. She pulled the sweatshirt over her head, immediately smelling Niall's scent.
A smile took over her face as her head got stuck in the hood, smelling the scent of his hair in the process. His hair smelled like lavender, but he smelled different. It was good different, no, it was a sensational different. He smelled like a mix of different things that Tessa could only describe as Niall.
"Better?" Dylan asks as Tessa finally adjusts the sweatshirt around herself.
"Yeah." Tessa smiles, pulling the hood back over her hair. She blamed her actions on the thought that she wanted to sleep, but she really just wanted to smell his scent even stronger.
Niall gave Tessa his sweatshirt right before he entered the tour bus that was waiting for him at the back entrance of the hotel. He said he gave it to her because she was shivering, but she wasn't. Sure she was cold, only wearing a short sleeved white shirt, but not shivering. Deep down she knew he just wanted her to have it.
Tessa's phone vibrated in her boot. She was so used to carrying her inhaler and phone in her boots that she didn't find it strange at all. She hardly ever had pockets that weren't skin tight or a bag to carry things in, so she got used to it. Dylan still gives her weird looks every time she pulls her inhaler or phone out of her boot, though.
Tessa turned the screen on to see Nialls face showing a text from him. She smiled as she unlocked her phone to read the full text.
Miss you all ready. Louis' giving the captain of our plane a hard time. -Niall
Tessa chuckled, imagining Louis bouncing off the walls and asking the captain a million stupid questions.
Sounds fun. Wish I was on your plane -Tessa
She looked over to see her friend reclined and sleeping already. The girl was just awake a few minutes ago. Tessa shakes her head, thinking of Zayn. It was like everything she did, saw, or thought all connected to those boys. Her thoughts were interrupted as a new text came through.
Ha, no ya don't. What you doin? -Niall
Tessa quickly typed a reply. She imagined Niall in first class with the rest of the boys. They were probably having so much fun, she missed them. All of them.
Thinking about you while sitting on a bloody boring plane -Tessa
The more she text him, the more she missed his voice. Already, it had only been a few hours since they said goodbye and already, she was missing the little things. Those little things seemed so massive to her. Like his voice, the way his mouth moved when he talked with his accent, how is hair was so sexy and touchable she just had to run her fingers through it. The little things that weren't so little to her.
