Everything seemed to be going great for Tessa. She had her uncle, her boyfriend, her new aunt, her friends. Even though her uncle wasn't right by her side like usual. She was surrounded by loved ones.

But just when her life seemed to be filled with love again, the world shakes the snow glob. Her world is shaken, this time no one knew how long it would be till it settled again.

At the moment her uncle was in full panic. One terrible car accident was enough per family. But the world didn't seem to get that with this particular family.

As Simon waited in the waiting room of the hospital, he didn't sit. He paced the floor, in front of the desk with a little old lady behind it, who gave the crowd of people a sympathetic look. His heart was racing, not in a good way. Tears threatened to fall from his eyes but he refused to let them, biting bitterly on his lip. Lauren constantly tried to calm him but even she couldn't.

All five boys and Eleanor sat, watching Simon try not to break down. Niall held his head in his hands with his eyes tightly closed an his hands clutching the sides of his head tightly. The boys desperately tried to calm him also, but after an hour of hopeless trying, they have up. Eleanor fell asleep on Louis shoulder as the other boys fell asleep on each other.

But Niall stayed awake. There was no way he could sleep while his girl was suffering. Every time he thought of the word 'suffering' he felt like getting up and punching the man that had ran into her car who also sat in the waiting room. Lauren had literally had to hold Simon back from doing it just moments ago.

The man sat, unharmed due to the fact he was driving a pickup drunk while Tessa drove a little black car. The man was also panicking. Not because he loved Tessa, he didn't even know her, but because he didn't know if she was going to be okay. He could get sued, he could go to jail. Simon wished he could just kill the guy on the spot. Niall wished something similar, he surely wouldn't have stopped Simon.

A nurse in purple scrubs whith a clipboard on her arm walked down the corridor. "Parents of Tessa Cowell?"

Simons head shut up, that was him. Legally that was him, in his mind that was him, that was him. "Come this way please."

Lauren let Simon go alone, she was technically only the girls 'stepmother'. She also thought Simons the kind of person that'd want to be alone with his little girl at the moment. Niall kept his head down, hearing Simons footsteps disappear. Of course he wanted to go, but it was family only at the moment.

The nurse informed Simon of Tessa injures. She had two broken ribs, a broken arm and possible head trauma. When Simon had asked what 'head trauma' meant exactly, she had said it was nothing too server. She had been wrong, this time.

Simon was left in the room with his little girl alone. He sat in the chair, moving closer to the side of the bed. He grabbed her hand, wishing her eyes would open so he would be positive she was alright. Her hand was cold in his, the beeping monitor signaling she was okay. Simon smiled, he knew she was 'okay' just something seemed off when her eyes fluttered open. "Hey, baby girl." He said.

Tessa starred at the man before her. She saw his face but she didn't see him. She saw Simon Cowell, not her uncle. Not the man that raised her after her parents died. "Where's my mum?" She asked.

Simons mouth parted as he took in her words. "Tessa," he said, not knowing what exactly to say to that.

"I want my mother." Tessa says again, pulling her hand out of the grasp of the man before her. "Who are you?" She asks frightened.

"I-I'm your uncle." He stutters as he tried to hold back his panic. He knew what was happening, but he denied it for as long as he could. "Uncle Simon."
