I waited patiently in the living room, because the girls still weren't back. It was already7:30 and I was getting very bored. That is until I heard the door bell.

"Hey" I said as I opened the door revealing Zach.

"Hey" he answered coming in.

"What are you doing, I thought you had a meeting" I questioned

"Yeah, it finished about 30 minutes ago, and I decided to come here, to see your books" he answered

"You really want to read one of my books?"

"Yeah, what'd you think I was just messing around"

"Honestly, I did" I said laughing

"Come on, I have them in my room." I said leading the way.

"Wow" he said walking in.

"I know it's a lot" I said looking at my two shelves I have, both filled with books.

"You've really read all of these?"

"Yeah, a lot are from Houston but most of them are some I got here." I stayed

"When did you leave Houston?"

"Do you mind me asking why?"

" um personal reasons, one because my mom has been working and raising for so us fro so long and I just didn't want to be a burden.So I moved here and I'm a photographer, I send some of the money I make over to her. You know for thanking her."

"That's really sweet" he said and stayed silent.

He slowly moved closer and closer. Our bodies almost touched. He put his hand on my cheek and rested it there. And he began to lean in...

"We're home" someone yelled and he quickly pulled away.

"Um, I guess I'll go then" he said as his cheeks turned a dark shade of pink.

"Yeah"I said smiling

"I'll text you" he said as I nodded

I walked downstairs a couple seconds after he did. Only to see Christina and may smiling like crazy.

"Was that zach" Christina excitedly

"Yes, but-" before I could finish they were both jumping around and screaming." Hey! Nothing happened" I finished

"Yeah right, you could so tell something happened, so spill" may urged

"She's right, I've known Zach for years, and his face was brighter pink and he was smiling like if he had just seen a unicorn" Christina added.

"Nothing happened" I continued

"Stop lying and just tell us" they both continued

"Fine, we almost kissed, you happy now" I caved in

"Oh my God" they said as they continued jumping and screaming.

"Calm down, it was nothing"I said

"How was that nothing, it was something" May teased

"So this answered the question I asked the other night right?" Christina continued asking.

"No, it doesn't, because nothing happened he tried to kiss me and I didn't have time to react, but luckily you guys came in and screamed just in time." I explained.

"Ok, yeah sure whatever you say." They said as I turned around

"Mia and Zach sitting by the tree, k-I-s-s-I-n-g,-" they both sang.

"Goodnight" i said walking upstairs totally ignoring them
