Steven searched for his skeleton fried all over the light house, he finally climbed to the roof and saw Sans laying on the roof, staring at the clouds.

"You okay Sans?" Steven asked, Sans only groaned in reply. "Well me and the gems are going on a mission, just to let you know." Steven said nervously.

"Ok, i'll be here. All day. Avoiding my Dad." Sans replied, Steven stared at him.

"Alright then, just call my day if you need anything." He said and walked back to his house, he opened the door to find all the gems and Gaster. Lion pushed his nose against Steven's side. "Sorry bud, I need you to stay here and keep an eye on Sans. Not sure he'll do much though." Steven said, he waved to Lion as Gaster teleport them to where he had put Papyrus last.

"I swear this island is just bad news." Amethyst said as there surroundings came into view.

"Why Mask Island?" Pearl asked Gaster, he pulled up a card with a peace sign on it. The gems got tired of trying to understand his drawing so they just gave him a pile of card and some blank ones so he could explain things from his world if needed.

"Maybe it seemed peaceful to him, it does a little bit to me." Peridot said as she touched the crystals around them. "But how are we going to find Papyrus in this mess?" She asked, Gaster stepped back and tripped an alarm. A rope went around his foot and hung him upside down, then wind chimes were heard.

"Get him down!" Lapis yelled, Pearl aimed her spear at the rope but then Steven heard familiar growling. Pearl shot down Gaster, he muttered something under his breath as he ripped off the rope.

"Your welcome." Pearl said, thinking he was thanking her. Then a a bunch of watermelon Stevens Came out with spears. Gaster used his spare hands to grab the spears and walked up to them, talking again. They jumped for joy when they saw him and they all hugged his legs.

"They must be really happy to see him, but why?" Lapis asked, Gaster held up a card with Papyrus on it and pointed at the trap.

"He, made the trap?" Peridot asked, Gaster nodded. The watermelon Steven's got off him as Gaster spoke, then they started crying.

"What's wrong now?!" Amethyst yelled, Gaster held up the card again and pointed at the Steven's. Then a watermelon Steven grabbed the card and hugged it.

"Maybe they don't want Papyrus to go, because of the traps?" Pearl asked, Steven went up to one.

"Please little me's, we want to help Sans-"

"Sans?" It repeated, interrupting Steven. They all stopped and looked at Steven.

"Yes, we need to get him to-" 

"SANS!" They yelled as they picked everyone up, they yelled the name over and over again until they made it to a tall shack. The watermelon Stevens set them all down and went back to there homes.

"I think this is Papyrus house." Lapis said, she pointed at a sign that read "The great Papyrus home!". Peridot then knocked on the door.

"Please leave me watermelons, it's not the best day." Someone spoke from inside. That's probably Papyrus, Gaster thought. He cleared his throat and spoke to the door. After a few seconds, the door creaked open a bit. They all walked in and saw the house was clean as ever, except for a sock on the floor.

"Hey, what's this?" Amethyst asked as she was looking at a photo that had seven monsters on it. One was a blue fish lady with red hair and an eye patch. Another was a yellow Dino lady with a white lab coat and glasses, two of them were goat people. 

One was a lady who had a purple dress with a blue symbol on her chest. The other was a male who had golden hair and beard with a cloak and suit. Another was a robot who looked like a male with pink and black suit and black hair. And finally in the center was two skeletons, one was Sans that was smiling and the other was Papyrus who was winking while hugging Sans.

"I thought Sans had the red scarf?" Pearl said, she was about to pick it up but she started glowing orange and her gem turned orange.

"Please don't touch that." The voice from before asked, everyone turned to see Papyrus in his battle armor (but with the red scarf) and had on eye glowing bright orange that looked like a flame.

"Papyrus! We found you!" Steven yelled, Papyrus was confused when he saw Steven. He looked at Steven, then the watermelon Steven's and back at Steven. "Could you maybe let my friend go?" Steven asked kindly.

"Of course!" Papyrus replied as he moved Pearl away from the picture and next to Gaster, who was staring at the picture. "Now that's out of the way." Papyrus said calmly and closed his eyes. Then he snapped his fingers and two skeletal heads with on glowing orange eye appeared. "TELL ME HOW YOU KNOW THAT LANGUAGE!" Papyrus yelled, Gaster spoke and Papyrus looked at him. "Oh, that's how." He said and the heads disappeared.

"Papyrus, we need you to come with us." Garnet said, Papyrus looked at her.

"Why is that?" Papyrus asked, Gaster spoke and Papyrus sigjed.

"When I said don't tell him, I didn't mean bring my brother to this dimension! Now he'll tire himself teleporting everywhere for me!" Papyrus yelled, Gaster crossed his arms across his chest and mumbled something.

"He had to!" Amethyst yelled, Papyrus looked at her.

"What do you mean?" Papyrus asked, raising a brow. (Idk)

"Your brother was killed by a human girl and Gaster brought him to Steven's mother's healing fountain to heal him and left him above Steven's house." Peridot then paused for a moment and looked at Gaster. "I said that correctly, right?" She asked him, Gaster face palmed his face and mumbled something.

"SUGARCOATING WHAT? MY BROTHER DIED KILLING THE HUMAN?!" Papyrus yelled while panicking. "How is he now?" Papyrus asked, full of worry. Pearl used a holopearl and morphed it into Sans to show him just laying on the floor.

"Your brother only eats Ketchup packets, he's been like this after he had a fight with Gaster." Pearl said and made it disappear. "Almost like he's, um." Pearl tried to find a nicer word then lifeless.

"Broken?" Lapis asked, Pearl shrugged her shoulders in agreement.

"THEN I SHALL FIX MY BROTHER!" Papyrus said and then thought for a moment. "But why didn't my friend comfort him after my faked death?" Papyrus asked.

"It does seem a little weird, you'd think that he would be comforted like how Steven helped me with somethings." Lapis said, Gaster's face grew nervous.

"Gaster, there's something you haven't told us." Garnet said, his face started to sweat. "What happened to them." She said and pointed at the picture of monsters. Everyone stared at him and his face grew more nervous.

"Please tell us, there my closest friends." Papyrus asked, Gaster sighed in defeat. He grabbed picture of all Papyrus's friends that he had drawn and a red crayon.
