"I wonder how the gems are right now." Papyrus said as they stepped out of the house.

Mean while...

"Why would you do that?!" Amethyst yelled at Pearl, they were all running in the crystal balls from a giant version of the tiny crystal creature.

"HOW WAS I SUPPOSE TO KNOW THAT WAS A BABY?! IF IT WAS YOUR PHONE, I'M PRETTY SURE YOU WOULD'VE DONE THE SAME DANG THING!" Pearl yelled, Amethyst thought about this as she changed her form into a cheetah.

"Eh, I don't have one because you think i'll be irresponsible with it. Looks like you can be to!" Amethyst said, Garnet sighed as she ran faster then the two.

"This is going to be along day." Garnet said as she broke her ball and freed the others.

Back at Beach city...

"Oh my gosh." Papyrus said as he stared at the games. "SO MANY VIDEO GAMES!" He was about to go in but then there was a chain stopping him. "Nyeh? What is this chain for?"

"Sorry, but unless your a gem over the age of 18 years of age or human, you can't come in here." Smiley said sadly, Steven and Connie were confused.

"Why? You always let us in." Steven asked,  Smiley sighed.

"The Mayor said something about it." Smiley said, then he got an idea. "But I know someone who is at twenty-six you could bring in here." Smiley said, the two kids were confused and then understood.

"OK, we'll be right back!" Steven said as he grabbed all there hands and ran into an alleyway.

"Humans, what are you doing?" Papyrus asked them, Connie pulled out her jacket from her backpack.

"Were getting Stevonnie, there like twenty-six." Connie said, Steven took of his sandals.

"Isn't it tiring though? What ever that is." Sans asked as he pointed at Steven's gem, Steven thought for a minute.

"Unless your weak, then not really." Steven said, Connie put on the jacket and high five Steven. Sans looked uneasy as Stevonnie shape took form.

"Now let's go play some video games." Stevonnie said, their form different from their training outfit. They moved there hair out of the jacket and walked into the arcade.

"So many, which one though?" Papyrus asked, then Stevonnie started pushing him to a basket ball game.

"Since you obviously like staying active..." They said and put a ball on her finger and spun it. "Try your skills to the test." Stevonnie said and shot the ball to the hop. "No cheating." Stevonnie said and handed Papyrus a ball and walked away. They hummed in thought as they looked around at the games, trying to find one for Sans. Then they saw Meat Beat Mania, they started considering it. Then they started to remember when Garnet played it and basically became a zombie.

"He is a skeleton so maybe..." They said and reached for the meet shakers."Nope." They said and pulled back there hand. "Not taking that chance." Stevonnie said as they turned around and then tripped on something, causing them to fall on their face.

"Sorry kid, I figure I take a nap while you look for a game." Sans said, Stevonnie looked at what they tripped on and saw Sans on the floor. They got up and helped up Sans.

"You did not just try to sleep on the floor." Stevonnie said, Sans shrugged his shoulders and the fell on the floor again.

"Also a kid stole my foot." Sans said and pointed at Onion, who was holding Sans foot. Stevonnie's eye twitched at the sight of Onion.

"ONION! GIVE ME BACK HIS FOOT!" Stevonnie said, Onion walked away with it. "GET BACK HERE! PAPYRUS! GRAB SANS!" Stevonnie said and ran after Onion, who was surprisingly running faster then Stevonnie.

"Honestly Sans." Papyrus said as he sprinted after Stevonnie while holding his brother by the waist. "Why did you stop him?!" Papyrus yelled, only to hear his brother snoring. He groaned as he ran next to Stevonnie. "I can catch him, but you have to hold Sans!" Papyrus said, Stevonnie looked around.

"YOU LEFT HIM?!" They yelled, then Sans appeared infront of them with his leg back. They stopped and Stevonnie took a deep breath. "Maybe tell us next time when you do that." Stevonnie said, Sans shrugged again as they made there way to the beach. "Sorry today's been nuts." Stevonnie said as they sat on the sand.

"It indeed was nuts." Papyrus said, Stevonnie looked out to the water. "But that doesn't mean we didn't like it. In fact, just being above ground is amazing!" Papyrus yelled and pointed at the sun.

"I thought you guys have been above the ground before." Stevonnie said, Sans sat on the sand.

"Nope, we monsters were forced underground. Been like that for a few years, the king did find a way to open the barrier but..." Sans said and his eyes went dark, Papyrus looked at the ground.

"What?" Stevonnie said, Sans sighed and snapped his fingers. Stevonnie became blue with a heart that was pink and blue that appeared infront of there chest.

"We needed human souls, which was what that was. The only way to get one, is to kill the human. We just needed one more but, I promised someone I wouldn't take Frisk to the king." Sans said and snapped his fingers again. The heart and blue disappeared from Stevonnie.

"That sounds brutal, almost reminds how bad the diamonds are." Stevonnie said as she looked at the sand.

"Who?" Papyrus asked them, she sighed.

"The whole reason Steven, the gems, the corrupted gems and the injectors are here is because of his mom. Rose quartz. She didn't like how the diamonds were killing earth and had a gem war against the diamonds with thousands of crystal gems." Stevonnie said and laid on the floor. "Now those gems are corrupted and are bubbled in the basement." They said and paused for a moment. "Well, almost all of them anyways." Stevonnie said, thinking of Bismuth

"Jeez, how long have you been living with them. The crystal gems I mean." Sans asked, Stevonnie thought for a minute and counted on there fingers.

"Um, I think about four and a half years now?" Stevonnie said and unfused out of fear when Connie's phone rang. She sighed and picked up her phone while Steven looked at the ocean.

"I gotta go, it was great seeing you all. See you later!" Connie said as she ran to the town. They all waved as Steven yawned and got up.

"I guess we should head back." Steven said and rubbed his eyes, Papyrus got up and helped Sans up.

"Do you need the great and strong Papyrus to carry you? You looked tired." Papyrus asked Steven who just laughed.

"You should've seen me when we tried looking for Lapis." Steven said and turned to the water and walked in it. Papyrus sighed and picked up Steven, who was snoring a bit. They all walked back to the house, the gems appeared on the warp pad as Papyrus set Steven in the bed and covered him with the blanket.

"What happened to you three?" Sans asked, Pearl was covered in crystals, Amethyst mouth was shut closed but she looked like she was laughing at Pearl while Garnet was holding a red bubble with a diamond shaped gem inside. "Is that a corrupted gem?" Sans asked as he pointed to the bubble, Garnet pushed the top and sent it away

"Yes, how do you know about them though." Garnet asked, Sans smirked.

"We got a lesson from Stevonnie." Sans said, Pearl groaned something and kept on talking until she went to her room. "Ok then."
