Everyone made there way up the lighthouse carefully, not wanting to destroy it more than it was. Papyrus helped a bit by putting bones where most of the holes impacted been. Then they heard a loud thud from above. Steven opened the hatch door to look around to make sure nothing bad was going to happen, he opened it completely and let everyone in. Amethyst walked next to Sans who was laying on his face on the floor.

"Yo." She said, she got no response so she kicked him lightly. "You alive?" She asked, Sans raised his hand and a bone was raised right under her. Making her jumped back a bit, he just mumbled nonsense. Papyrus looked around and saw scorch marks, ketchup packets and bones everywhere.

"Honestly Sans, I knew you were lazy but this is just unacceptable." Papyrus said, Sans sighed.

"Just what I need, a lecture from a mirage. What else can go wrong." Sans said, Pearl was trying to not go crazy over the mess that surrounded her.

"THAT'S IT! I CAN'T LOOK AT THIS PIGSTINE!" Pearl yelled and started cleaning, Papyrus sighed and lifted his brother as a spade shape appeared under Sans.

"What will make you believe i'm really here?" Papyrus asked himself, Amethyst looked at the ketchup packets, then Sans, then Papyrus then at the packets again until she got an idea.

"I'm surprised you don't want to ketchup with Papyrus Sans." Amethyst said, Papyrus glared at her.

"What are you doing?" Steven asked her, she pulled Pearl, Garnet and Steven into a huddle.

"Sans told me one time that his brother hates bad puns. We come up with enough of them..." Amethyst said and gestured to them all.

"Then we get the same reaction as Sans would!" Steven said, they all nodded. Amethyst shape shifted into Lion and sat down next to Papyrus.

"It's to bad Sans is lion around." Pearl said and snickered at her own joke, Papyrus glared at the two.

"Maybe instead of jokes, we shed some light on this situation." Garnet said as she stood next to the giant light bulb. Papyrus's eye twitched as he growled at this and curled is fists. Pearl thought of something and pulled out a measuring tape and handed it to Steven. He then started poking Papyrus with it.

"Steven, what are you doing?" Papyrus asked him, Steven snickered as he continued to poke Papyrus's skull.

"I'm measuring your patience!" Steven said and laughed as he poked Papyrus again.

"AHHHHH!" Papyrus yelled and grabbed his brother. "I LEAVE YOU ALONE FOR A MONTH, THINKING IT T'WAS ME WHY YOU NEVER TAKE ANYTHING SERIOUS! I THOUGHT YOU WOULD BE STRONGER WITHOUT ME AROUND!" Papyrus yelled as he started shaking Sans like crazy. He then noticed that Sans wasn't reacting like usual so he stopped.

"How can I be stronger if I have no left that's alive?" Sans said, Papyrus sighed and gave his brother a hug.

"I'm alive, you have no need to live in a shadow anymore." Papyrus said, Sans started hugging his brother slowly and saw the gems were crying. Steven was just being a happy child, jumping and squealing in one place. Sans laughed lightly and fell asleep. After Garnet had a firm grip on Pearl so she wouldn't try continue cleaning, they all walked back to the beach house. Once inside, Papyrus set Sans down on the couch and put a spare blanket over him once he took off the red scarf.

"Will he be alright?" Pearl asked Papyrus, who was looking at the red scarf.

"He'll just sleep it off, nothing he hasn't done before. Do you happen to have somewhere I could wash this at?" Papyrus asked Pearl who nodded and walked to the warp pad. She warped them away and Steven yawned a bit.

"You should get some sleep." Garnet said as she locked the door. "You did a lot today." Garnet said and looked at Amethyst who was sleeping as her cat form on the end of the couch. Steven nodded, he got changed so after and went to bed.

"Finally, some peace and quiet. Nothing creepy to go wrong." Steven said to himself as he closed his eyes slowly. He sighed and felt like he was floating, like nothing at all could go wrong. Or so he thought.

"STOP IT CHARA!" A girl's voice sounded, Steven sat up quick and looked around to see just darkness. He sighed as he stood up and tried to figure out what kind of twisted dream this was. "STOP IT! PLEASE!" The girl's voice yelled again, he turned around and saw a little girl who was on her knees and seemed to be crying. He walked closer and started recognizing the girl from before.

"Frisk?" He asked, she looked up at him to reveal her scratched and tearful face. He noticed her blue and purple sweater had cuts on the ends and the sleeves and that at the end of her hands were black chains that kept her to the ground.

"Y-you need to get o-out. Get o-out before s-she gets y-you to!" She yelled, more tears running down her face.

"What do you mean she?" Steven asked, confused as ever.until he heard a laugh. He looked behind him ad saw a girl that looked just like Frisk but had a green sweater and yellow stripe on it.

"Her." Frisk said, Chara looked up at Steven with her eyes red and black ooze going down her cheeks. She started to laugh more and revealed a knife in her hands.

"Did you bring a new friend Frisk? Can I play with him?" Chara asked creepily. But before anyone could answer, Chara jumped in the air to launch an attack. Steven used his shield and shot it at her, making her go flying backwards. He sighed and crouched down next to Frisk.

"Let me help you." He said and tried to figure out how to unlock the bindings on her wrist. But even with her eyes closed, she looked scared as Chara jumped in the air again.

"MOVE!" Frisk yelled, but it was to late. Chara's knife hit his back. "NO!" Frisk yelled as Steven touched the wound.

"AHHH!" Steven yelled as he woke up from his sleep, sweat going down his face.
