3 years later....

Steven sighed as he watched the waves of the ocean. He didn't remember anything except the gems in shards and some creepy laughter. He also remembered a little girl promising him something, but what was it? Steven decided to go out for a walk and waved at all the uncorrupted gems. But then some quartz ran in fear across from him.

"What's going on?" Steven asked one, it just pointed behind them and ran away. He summoned his shield as he walked closer.

"I just need some help." Someone said, Steven tried to stop from attacking the person but was to late and sent the guy to the floor. "Seriously?!" The guys said Steven gasped as he shield disappeared.

"I'm so sorry, I thought you were the things those gems were running from." Steven said as he saw who it really was, a goat man in some purple robes. He looked at Steven and his eyes grew wide.

"STEVEN?!" He yelled and got up, Steven started to get nervous. "It's me! Flowey!" The goat man said, Steven got more confused. Flowey sighed and thought for a minute. "How could I make you remember?!" He said to himself.

"Asriel?! Where are you, were suppose to look for St-" A girl said, she came out of hiding to reveal Frisk, she had her hair in a low ponytail, wore black short overalls over a purple striped blue shirt. She interrupted herself when she saw Steven

"Can we hurry this up? People are looking at me weird." Chara said as she walked next to Frisk, Steven noticed she was a skeleton for some reason. "Oh cool, it's Steven." Chara said, Asriel sighed. Steven looked at them for a minute and then at there sweaters and then at Asriel. Then everything came flooding back, and his smile grew wide.

"I'm so happy to see you guys!" Steven said and hugged Asriel, Chara laughed as they walked to him. "The gems are gonna be so happy to see you guys!" Steven said as he stopped hugging them, then he realized something. "If they remembered who you are." Steven said and smacked his head. "Also, why are you a skeleton?" Steven asked Chara, she rubbed her bony arm.

"Papyrus brought me back and they'll be glad to see them, not me. Remember?" Chara said, Steven looked at her.

"No, no, no. That is not what has happened, you guys missed a lot while you gone, why is it you look older than before?" Steven asked.

"Because Toriel wouldn't let them leave until they were old enough." Someone said from above, Steven looked up and smiled a bit.

"Good to see you Sans." Steven said, Asriel groaned.

"Do you have to follow us?!" He yelled, Sans teleported next to Steven.

"A lot has happened since you guys were gone." Steven said, then a blue arrow was thrown near him. "Yikes." Steven said, then another was thrown at him.

"HUMAN!" Some lady yelled, Steven looked up and saw Undyne. She was about to throw another until she glowed bright orange.

"Undyne! You promised me you wouldn't attack anymore humans!" Some one said, then it was revealed to be papyrus. "Oh, hello Steven." He said, then he dropped Undyne  from a high spot.

"AH!" Steven yelled as he jumped high and slowly came down with Undyne. "You okay?" Steven asked her.

"Eh, a little rusty." She said, Steven sighed.

"Good, that should be it then. Wait, weren't there more?" Steven asked, then a purple whip went around Steven, Frisk and Chara stomach and pulled them back.

"I got this Steven!" Amethyst yelled and used her spin dash. Sans sighed as he stopped her with his glowing blue.

"Can I fight her, she's not human." Undyne asked, Papyrus just sighed as he hugged Amethyst.

"It is good to see you my friend!" Papyrus said, Amethyst squirmed to get out of his grasp. Steven walked over to Papyrus. "It is also nice to see you have changed your outfit!" Papyrus yelled, Amethyst morphed into a cat and scratched at his face. "Owie!" Papyrus yelled as he dropped the cat.

"Leave him alone!" Chara yelled as she was about to kick Amethyst.

"No! Leave the gem alone. She doesn't remember." Papyrus said as he walked over to Chara and rubbed his skull.

"I kinda wanna keep it that way, they'll attack me once they remember me!" Chara yelled, Amethyst looked at Chara and hissed. "See!" Papyrus hugged Chara. "Let me go!"

"I'm still confused." Steven said while scratching the back of his neck.

"Papyrus has become a father basically." Someone said behind Steven, he turned and saw the one and only Gaster and he seemed to be smiling.

"Good to see you old friend, but who's his kid?" Steven said, Gaster pointed at Chara who was blushing but hugging Papyrus back while pouting. "WHHAAATTTTT!"

"Us skeletons can rise the dead, Papyrus did that and became Chara's dad since he real dad is um well...." Sans said, Chara glared at him. The idea is from a comic, called skeleton Chara I think. "She still hates me though, like someone else I know." He said and looked at Asriel who was messing with rainbow vines that came from his wrist.

"What?" Asriel said as the magic disappeared, Undyne yawned as she twirled her blue arrow on her finger.

"STEVEN!" Pearl yelled behind Steven. Steven's face started to sweat.

"Oh no, we gotta go." Steven said as Pearl began to run to him. She jumped in the air and threw a spear at them but Undyne caught it while looking at her fingers.

"STOP PEARL!" Lapis yelled as she used water to stop her. She flew down infront of Gaster and set the ball to the ground. "They're friend's. Remember?" Lapis said as he wings disappeared.

"Did everyone get new outfits?" Chara asked, Lapis froze when she saw Chara. Chara hid a bit behind Papyrus. Lapis sighed and walked over to Chara while looking annoyed.

"Welcome to Beach City, main home of the homeworld gems." Lapis said as she held out her hand to Chara.

"Why are you being nice to me?" Chara said, Lapis sighed again as Chara shook her hand.

"Everyone deserve a second chance. Trust me, I would know." Lapis said and freed Pearl from her prison. Undyne helped her up and handed her the spear.

"Maybe aim and throw with your arm, then it would've been hard to catch it." Undyne said, Pearl gave her an confused look. "Has any one seen Alphys? Usually she hides." Undyne said, they heard someone talking and turned to see both Peridot and Alphys talking. Gaster was behind them and nodding.

"Okay, now wheres the king and queen?" Steven asked, Sans rubbed his neck.

"Most likely far from eachother." Sans said, Steven gave him a confused look
