For the next couple of months, April would tease me and it would get really annoying, but she was my best friend, and hey, what else are best friends for?

"Hey man, guess what?" April would say one day.

"What?!" I would reply, paying full attention.

"Aw, nothin'," and she'd giggle and sit down next to me.

She did it every time she visited, and every single time I fell for it. I would sarcastically roll my eyes, and that was how most visits began.

I stopped responding after those couple of months. I just replied with a casual, "Hi," and soon, she also stopped. Deep down, I really do want to go over though, but the lack of mentioning soon mad me forget her promise. It made talking and hanging out with her easier though, since that hint of annoyance was gone.

The next year, when it came to my birthday again, April said she had a surprise for me. 'A big one,' if I quote correctly. At this point, her promise was no longer in my memory box, so I couldn't possibly think of anything that could be so amazing. The sparkle in her eye, and the fact that she couldn't stay still for more than a second told me that I should be excited, though.

"Ok...... Here it is!!" She said, handing me a decent sized box.

I shared it a bit, and it sounded like there was something soft inside it. It wasn't very heavy either. I slowly undid the wrapping, shaking it every now and then. I still couldn't figure out what was inside. What was so amazing, but wasn't the least bit heavy? Since it wasn't heavy, I figured it wasn't anything like gold or silver. It was too light. I finally peeled off the shiny wrapping, and if the wrapping was that good, how could she afford something amazing? Something that would dazzle me?

I opened the box, and at first I was confused. But as I pulled it out, I remembered. It was the perfect size. Each thread in the perfect spot; everything matched. I loved it, it showed me how much April knew me. How much she listened.

I smiled, "Thank you. Thank you so much!"

She had given me a space suit. It was just lightweight, and made perfectly. From behind her back, she pulled out a helmet, that was also the right size. I went and tried it on, and she said I looked good.

"So... When are we going?" I asked.

"When are we going? Well, in a couple of days I guess. You'll need to be prepared and ready, but it depends on how long you'll be there. If a few days, it will take you time to pack, but if only a few hours, then maybe some food. The longest you can stay though is a week, before the suit will need repairing. Sound good?" She explained to me.

I gave her a hug, "Sounds great!"
