I'd chosen to stay at April's place for three days, so I spent two days packing and figuring out what I would need. We were to leave a week after I finished packing, in case I'd forgotten something and I would be able to get it back. I had also tried on the suit many times, and it was really comfortable, and did everything I needed to do on an everyday basis while protecting me. It supplied me with air, it did this mechanical thing that was too much for my brain to understand (even though April explained it to me), that lets me eat and drink and still be protected and many other things. I was excited, and every time April visited, I would thank her.

But one day, before we left to April's planet, some people got a hold of me. Bad people. At first I didn't understand, but they explained it, and I was never the same again.

I heard the before I saw them, but I did nothing. I suspected it was an extremely windy day above, but the trees were blocking the wind from hitting me. I was adding the last of what I needed to take, when I was grabbed and gagged in the space of five seconds. They tied my hands, and then a bag was shoved over my head, and everything blacked out. Unable to make any noise, nor see what was going on, I was pushed forward and told to walk. They told me what directions to go, and from the sounds of their voices, there were two males and one female adult leading me.

Once we reached our destination, the female said, "Sit," and pushed me down onto a chair.

The bag was then pulled off, and it took a while for my eyes to adjust to the lighting. It was a single lamp, but it was extremely bright.

"We would like to make a deal, but first we will tell you your side of the deal."

I looked up, and the men were both tall and strong, especially compared to me, a scrawny kid, and they could definitely pass as brothers. The woman was also tall, but she didn't seem to be related to either of the men. She was a figure of her own, a strong leader, and the men listened to everything she said, and did what she told them.

"Tell me, then," I said.
