All Jungkook could do was weep. He cried and cried, long after Taehyung left. He knew the truth, but he had set himself for failure.

His choked sobs filled the empty room, rattling the broken tables and chairs.

The officer sat in his car, punching the steering wheel as hard as he possibly could. He was beyond angry. But then, a tear slipped down his face. And he began to sob uncontrollably.

He knew he shouldn't drive mad; he could risk getting into a car accident. But he honestly didn't care at that moment. He would be heading home, even if his face was streaked with dry tears.

He started the engine and drove on autopilot. He was too wrapped up in his thoughts to realize the route he was headed.

How could Jungkook not have done it? How could he not have killed Jin? That's completely ridiculous... Impossible, even. He was right there. Right in front of him where he was covered in blood and flesh and... Death.

With a face like his, it was almost believable. Jungkook was gorgeous. His face was absolutely adorable and so, so handsome. His little smile was even prettier. His eyes would scrunch up, alongside his nose, and his cheeks would get all ruddy. He was just so sickeningly cute. One would think how he would be able to do something so wicked with a face as cute as his.

Taehyung's nose twitched. Just because someone is pretty doesn't mean they're incapable of murder. A nice face doesn't stop someone from being evil. He grimaced and then furrowed his eyebrows, noticing that his car had suddenly stopped moving. He looked around and saw that he was at his apartment.

Wiping his eyes, the officer stepped out of his vehicle and bolted inside and up the stairs, grabbing his keys but noticing that the door was open.

Strange...

He twisted the knob and pushed the door open, seeing a figure sitting inside at his dining table. He stepped inside and turned on the lights to see Jimin staring back at him.

"Tae?"

"Shit." He cursed under his breath. Taehyung wasn't about to let Jimin see him cry his eyes out. He hadn't cried in years. "Leave." He choked out.

"No, Taehyung, we really need to talk."

"Please." This time, it all came out as a whimper.

Jimin rose from his seat, gliding towards Taehyung. He always seemed like an angel, always seemed so perfect.

Taehyung envied Jimin, really. Although they're best friends, he'd always wish he could be as perfect as his friend. As forgiving and as kind and as pretty. But he would never admit it, no. He couldn't... He wasn't one for embarrassing himself.

Suddenly, as Taehyung was deep inside his mind, he was snapped back to reality by a pair of arms wrapping around him and big eyes staring up at him. And that's what broke him. Loud, ugly sobs erupted from Taehyung's chest and he cried and cried. It was healthier to get it out, anyway.

"Shh, it's okay, TaeTae. I'm here, Minie's here." Jimin slowly guided them to his couch.

Jimin's initial plan was definitely not to make Taehyung cry. He hadn't seen them cry since they were kids, but here they were. He hated seeing the boy so sad. There had to be some sort of trigger, something that made him so upset. He doubted that Taehyung would want to talk about it, though.

Taehyung shoved his face into the crook of Jimin's neck. His choked sobs were beginning to die down. Jimin was always so good at calming people down. Especially Taehyung.
