Everything was starting to come back.

The blurred vision was beginning to subside. He could hear all the shouts, and worst of all, he could hear the choking.

He dropped his gun and fell to his knees, frantically trying to cover Wooshik's wound with whatever he could find. He ended up tearing off Wooshik's shirt in order to put pressure on his neck. Taehyung didn't know what to do.

He pressed the button to his radio and spoke frantically into it, not caring who heard. He just needed someone— anyone to help. "10-54, 10-78. Hurry." He released the button and waited, continuing to apply as much pressure as he could.

Finally, after what felt like ages, Jimin's voice cut through. "10-101?"

"I'm- I'm fine- Shit, Jimin, I might've killed Wooshik."

"I'll be right there."

Minutes passed and tons upon tons of police cars swarmed. The red and blue lights flashed so aggressively, Taehyung couldn't comprehend what was real and what wasn't. Everything was going at light speed; everything was a blur.

"Taehyung! Taehyung, are you okay?" Jimin's face came into view.

Taehyung's eyes were glossy. It was as if he was staring straight through Jimin, and it was terrifying.

It only made Jimin remember when Taehyung was constantly glass-eyed. He would always stare through him, no matter the circumstances, and he never spoke.

But now wasn't the time.

"Answer me!"

"J-Jimin?" Taehyung said, his vision slowly going back to normal.

"Yes, I'm here, Tae."

"I think I killed him."

"He's still breathing, Tae. He's- Don't worry, he's still breathing."

"Jimin, I think I killed him," Taehyung said, his lips quivering. He grasped Jimin's forearm. "Is he dead?"

Taehyung clearly didn't hear what Jimin said. The older frowned. "Taehyung, he's okay. He's not dead."

"Where's Jungkook?"

There he is, Jimin thought. "He's at the station. I told him to stay back—"

"I'm right here, Taehyungie!" Jungkook popped in.

Jimin nearly shit his pants. He fell to the side and took a deep breath before basically barking at Jungkook, "What did I tell you?"

"You said to stay back..."

"And why did I tell you that?"

"Because you said that I could be a distraction or get hurt..."

"And what are you being right now?"

"A distraction..."

"I rest my case," Jimin huffed, falling onto his butt.

Taehyung still didn't know what was going on. "Jungkook?"

"Taehyung, I'm here! You don't have to worry. Wooshik's alive and I don't think he's going to die any time soon. See? The ambulance are just over there," Jungkook said, pointing to the stretcher which was currently rushing Wooshik's bloody body onto the ambulance back.

"Oh... Yeah. Yeah, okay." Taehyung nodded, beginning to grasp the situation. His smile was returning to his face.

It was just the Jungkook effect.

"Okay, that's enough. We have to go. C'mon, Tae. Let's get you up," Jimin said, waving a hand under Taehyung's arm and hauling him up.

"Yes. We... We're going back. Back to... Where?" Taehyung almost babbled. It was weird to see him in such a state of shock.

"The station, you fuck. C'mon," Jimin groaned. He was on the verge of tears, Taehyung was annoying him so much. Why did that idiot have to go into shock? Maybe he should have been helping him instead of insulting him first but... What are friends for?

"Oh yeah. The station. Hey, Jungkook?" Taehyung mumbled.

"Yes, Taehyung?"

"I love you."

Everything stopped for a moment.

"Sorry?" Jungkook said.

"I love you," Taehyung repeated. He was dead serious, wasn't he?

Jungkook felt his heart pick up. That's... He needed to hear that. He'd been debating his feelings for a while, but those words were the confirmation he needed.

"Well you guys can all— uhm— sort this out when you get home. Let's just get you back," Jimin cleared his throat. Jungkook giggled, noticing Jimin's clear discomfort.

He was glad to have met them all. He was happy again for the first time in what felt like years. Jungkook was happy.
