- One year and 6 months later -
" Ashlyn, Hi. So, How's my baby boy doing? " I asked as I placed my phone between my ear and shouldered as I typed away the contracts and documents needed for the shipment of the spare parts tomorrow.
" A little fine. Dylan seems to love your kid a lot and he's fit to become your kid's Uncle Grandpa. He's enjoying his time with David so much, he forgot to work inside his office as well. He only works when it's my breaktime since he'll hand me your baby boy to take care of, " Ashlyn replied as I hear David babbling in the background. I smiled as I hear him squeal in delight.
Ever since that day when I decided to raise my baby boy, David, and bring him to this world, my life was starting to smooth out nicely.
Sure it was hard being pregnant and the expenses costs a lot but I managed to get it all covered until it was time for me to give birth to my little angel.
I was still captivated by my baby boy from the time I held him in my arms until that day forward. He looks so fragile and i was afraid that if i wasn't gentle or careful enough, He would break.
His hair color was taken from my brown chestnut one but the rest looks like his " supposed to be " daddy. Unlike before, I didn't get to clearly see Cloud's eyes and tell what color they are but the moment my son first opened his eyes, I was easily trapped by his enchanting shade of cool emerald green eyes and knew that he had taken that trait from him as well.
It was a little hard raising David by myself, but thanks for Ashlyn, it was easier. But since I figured that my money wouldn't cover all the expenses and I doubt that my paycheck would be enough to support the both of us together. Dylan gave me a good amount of money but I know I needed more and I can't ask for more from Dylan. So, I started to hunt for a better job when David was atleast 5 months old.
And as if luck was siding with me, Rush came in the cafe one day, to meet up with Ashlyn of course, and overheard my conversation with Ashlyn to help me find a good stable paying job. Rush beamed at me and told me that the bike mechanic shop he works in, along with his Last Rangers MC community, had a job offer for a accountant as well as a good mechanic who knows his/her mojo. I immediately took it because this accounting skills I gained in the cafe was good and I am a mechanic who knows her mojo.
It was difficult to impress the people in the shop at first, given that even though they believed that I would be a good accountant but they doubt that I could even fix a bike because I'm a woman.
It just so happened that one of their mechanics were on a sick leave that day because of fever and they needed to fill someone in. Since everyone was busy with their projects and fixing other people's cars and bikes, The Last Rangers' leader had no choice but to give me a shot and offered me the spot to fix a bike.
I did what I have to do and I didn't mind getting my hands and self dirty with a little muck and grime. After a good time of 30 minutes, I managed to repair the bike and made into better conditions since they let me use their tools. They were hesitant at first but after fixing the bike, I got myself a job right there on the spot without having to be interviewed or in any need of college papers or what not.
The job pays me well enough to support both me and my son and even have a little leftover to save for his future as well as the job was nice and enjoyable to my part. So, everything was going really well for me. Even without that Cloud Valentino's help to support me and my son.
The door opened as Samson or "Engine" dropped by and asked,
" Hey, Peanut. Could you help out a bit? Striker needs a little help with his problem in fixing his client's bike. "
