Under A Dark Cloud

Chapter 24

Keira's Pov :

Cloud left somewhere after we arrived in the Villa. I wonder what's going on. Someone knocked on the door. I stood up and see who it was. Heading towards the door, I turned the knob and saw Gian, carrying the huge box today.

He smiled at me sheepishly and said, " Capo says that I should bring this to you. He'll be waiting in the living room. "

I smiled and opened the door wide for him. He smiled and went in to put the box in the bed. He bowed and smiled as He went out.

Wondering what is inside the box, I closed the door and crossed the room, in front of the box. I noticed a letter tucked under the ribbon and gently took it out. I unfolded it and read,

" Dear Cara mia, I have been suddenly informed by Nonno that tonight, We will have very important guests coming over to the Villa. And luckily, I had prepared just in the nick of time. I picked it myself, with the help of Cassan and I know that you will be radiant and breathtakingly beautiful tonight. - Your loving husband, Cloudx. "

Very important guests? My eyebrows furrowed in confusion as I placed the letter down on the bed and started to unwrap the box. Oh my.

Inside was a very elegant and beautiful black dress with very fine details made out of diamonds. I picked it up gently and slowly as if it were the most fragile thing in the world, well, second to my wedding dress of course.

I placed the dress down carefully on the bed and see the other things inside the box. I pulled out elegant black heels matching the black dress. I put one on to make sure it fits. And to my surprise, it did. Wow. It's like Cloud knows everything about me, including my size.

I found a awe strickening diamond necklace and earrings that very well matched the whole thing. I laid it down and examined everything. Cloud does know his style and sense when it comes to tastefully picking the right clothes.

I heard the door knock again and went to open it. I opened to see Luca in a classy yet sexy beige colored dress with exquisite designs of fliwers. To say that Luca is a beautiful woman is an understatement. She's a natural drop dead gorgeous girl.

She looked at me in shock and eyed me head to toe. She faced to me and said,

" Why aren't you dressed yet? You supposed to get dressed, so I can help you with your hair and make up! "

" I was just going to change but- "

" Ah! Not a word! Chop chop! We have a dinner to attend to and your husband is waiting ever so impatiently. Not that I know why but go change!, " Luca went to the door and closed it.

She then came to me and helped me undress. I was a bit embarrassed but we're the only girls here in the room so it's ok. After helping me out of my clothes, She then helped me with the dress and accessories.

Already dressed, Luca took out a make up kit from her purse and started to apply make up in my face. I closed my eyes as I calmly relaxed in the seat.

Next was the hair. I don't know what Luca is doing with my hair but it seems like she did it easily and with no effort whatsoever. Adding the finishing touches, Luca stood infront of me and admired her work.

" If I were a man, I'd totally date and marry you in a heartbeat, " She said with a smile.

She helped me up slowly as we walked towards the mirror. I was in awe. It wasn't me anymore staring back in the mirror, but a very beautiful and elegant woman. I can't believe this is me. Luca unbelievably styled my hair elegantly and the make uo she put on me wasn't too much but enough to bring out my eyes and make me look like this is my whole natural beauty.

Luca smiled and slightly turned me to face her. Her face looked serious as She said, " Kei, Listen. This fine piece of dress Cloud picked for you is your protective armor. Wear it with pride and grace as well as that very beautiful yet fierce look. All I want you is to get ready for this dinner, alright? "

Although slightly confused, I smiled ajd nodded. Luca's expression changed as She smiled and gave me a hug. She pulled away from the hug and said,

" You shall be the belle of the ball and no one can ever compete with your superior and unfazed beauty. You look absolutely- "

" Beautiful. " We turned around to see Cloud wearing a very crisp and handsome Armani suit that very well hugged his physique and muscular body, looking at me with such look in his eyes. His eyes roamed around my body, admiring every detail. His eyes caught mine as I blushed.

" Oh, You impatient Lasagna! Can't you at least wait until she comes down?, " Luca said, clearly annoyed with Cloud.

Cloud ignored her words and walked to me slowly until we are just inches apart. He looked at me as if I was a very rare flower and placed his hand on my cheek, cupping it gently. His eyes showed so much love and admiration for me.

" To say that you are a very elegant woman would be wrong. You are the most beautiful woman in the world my eyes have ever laid on or the world has ever seen, Cara mia. "

I blushed at his words as He chuckled. His mesmerizing emerald green orbs staring at my brown ones. He bent down to kiss me but was interrupted by a cough.

" As much as I love you guys kissing or something, We have a dinner to go and we don't want to be late. After this, You can go continue your stuff,  " Luca said as a hint of pink displayed on her cheeks as She went towards the door and went out.

We smiled at eachother. Cloud held his hand up to me as I took it with mine. He smiled as He then intertwine our arms then fingers together.

" Shall we go meet our guests, Cara? I am sure that they will be delighted to see the woman who captured my heart and the one whom I am deeply in love with. "

I blushed and nodded instead. We went out of our room as slowly went down. I thought we were going to the usual dining room but We walked in some part of the Villa. Ahead was a door infront of us. Cloud and I took a moment before going inside. He opened the door as We went in.
