Elena's POV
"Elijah..." I practically gasped. I hastily covered my half naked body, hiding from his unwelcome eyes.
"Elena...I found you." He approached her swiftly, reaching for her hand but she moved away, looking at with him with confused eyes.
"How did you find me?" I asked, my voice wavering slightly. Though his sudden appearance leaves me frightened, I can't help but crave his touch.
"That doesn't matter now. I found you. And we can finally be together. If you could just—"
"Stop."Elena interrupted. "You can't do this. I don't want this. I was just getting to a good place with Kol and-"
"You're choosing Kol over me? This is preposterous. We have something special Elena. Can't you see that? Do you feel the same way as I do? Or have you been playing this whole time?"
