I picked up the note slowly and looked around as I did so. The note was in a black and white envelope with a red skull wax seal. I had opened it. The note read.

"Dear y/n, your voice is lovely. I wonder if your voice is as good as your dancing. You may not know who I am yet, but soon you will. I am the voice you hear call out. I am the voice in the shadows."

I was in silence with my own thoughts for a while before finally coming to a thought. "Who is this person that does call out to me?" I thought. I was eager to know who.

Meg had returned to the room and I quickly put away the note.

"Meg you're back!" I gleefully said to her. She smiled and responded. "Indeed I am! My mother wanted me to let you know that I am to have you wake up at exactly 6:30 every morning to get dressed and ready to dance."

I had pondered to myself, "am I a good dancer as I am a singer." I haven't taken ballet lessons since I was very little. I remember some moves. Although I don't want to disappoint the mysterious voice.

In response I nodded to Meg. She said to me, "Are you a decent dancer?" To which I replied with, "I haven't danced since I was little, but I remember some things." Meg nodded.

I laid down and looked at the analog clock. It was around 10:30 pm. I had slowly closed my eyes to sleep. I couldn't stop thinking about the note and who that voice is. The voice said I will meet them soon. I wonder when that would be. I then after a few minutes fell asleep.
