"Hey you know what I'd like to know why send us down today after ninety seven years? What changed?" Finn asks the group. "Who cares, I woke up rotting in a cell and now I'm spinning in a forest" Octavia says spinning on a tree trying to grab Finns attention but it dosent work. "Finns got a good point" I say.
"Maybe they found something on a satellite, you know, like an old weather satellite or..." Monty says before Clarke interrupts him "It wasn't a satellite. The Ark is dying. At the current population level, there's roughly three months left of life support, maybe four now that we're gone"
"So that was the secret they locked you up to keep, why they kept you in solitary, floated your old man?" Finn asks "Clarke they floated your dad. I no idea. I'm so sorry" I say I was a bit confused when we were coming down about what Wells and Clarke were arguing about it makes sense now.
"My father was the engineer who discovered the flaw. He thought the people had a right to know. The Council disagreed. My mother disagreed. They were afraid it would cause a panic. We were gonna go public, anyway, when Wells..." "What, turned in your dad?" Monty asks
"Anyway, the guard showed up before we could. That's why today. That's why it was worth the risk. Even if we all die, at least they bought themselves more time" Clarke says "They're gonna kill more people, aren't they?" I ask "Good. After what they did to me, I say, float them all" Octavia says and begins walking ahead of us "You don't mean that" Jasper shouts and we go follow Octavia.
"Man I love Earth" Jasper says looking at Octavia taking off her clothes.
"Octavia what the hell are you doing" Clarke yells and Octavia looks back at us and smiles before jumping into the water.
"Octavia" Clarke yells and we all run toward where she jumped and we see her in the water and the water is covering her nose "we can't swim" Monty says "no but we can stand" Octavia says standing taller the water now reaching her waist.
"Wait there's not supposed to be a river here" Clarke says "well there is so take off your damn clothes" I say and everyone begins taking off of their clothes when Jasper yells "Octavia get out of the water" i look in the water and see what looks to be a giant snake heading straight for Octavia.
"Octavia hurry" I yell. The animal grabs her leg and pulls her under "Octavia!" I yell she gets tossed around by the 'snake' and when she comes above water her screams can be heard.
"What the hell is that" I ask but no one responds.
"We have to help her" Finn says.
"What are you gonna do?" Clarke asks Finn
"Try not to get eaten" Finn says.
"No wait what if we distract it. It might let her go help me" Clarke says trying to push a large rock in the water but it
doesn't budge
"Screw it" I whisper underneath my breath before taking off my shoes. "Let me know when the things let go of here and is coming toward me" I tell them "Sophia no" Clarke says but I jump in.
I then splash around to grab the things attention and when I do it let's go of her I see Jasper jump in and help her "Sophia get out of the water" Clarke yells and everyone runs over to where I am. I then feel my body being dragged underwater by it I scream and try to kick with the leg it's grabbed onto but it doesn't work. It suddenly let's go and I try to swim as fast as possible which wasn't very fast considering I've never swam in my life the the edge of the river and when I do Finn pulls me out of the water "thanks" I say to him and he nods his head.
I let out a deep breath and stand up I then feel arms being wrapped around me "you saved my life" Octavia says and she lets me go. "Are you ok? You're bleeding" Clarke says.
"I'm fine how about we camp out and get some rest" I say and we all camp out in a forest for the night

"You wanted to go first now quit stalling" Clarke says to Finn who is holding onto a vine so we can get to the other side of the river and continue our trek the Mount Weather.
"Mount Weather awaits" Finn says.
"Just hang on till the apogee, and you'll be fine" Jasper says standing next to Finn
"Apogee like the Indians right?" Finn says to Jasper.
"Apogee not Apache" Jasper says
"He knows, today Finn" Clarke says
"Come on Finn at the rate your going it will take us a week to get to Mount Weather" I yell at him and he shoots me a playful glare
"aye aye captain" Finn says and then grabs into the the vine ready to take off "wait let me" Jasper says looking at Octavia
"I knew there was a badass in there somewhere" Finn says handing the vine to Jasper.
Jasper holds onto the vine with a nervous look on his face "hey it's ok to be afraid, Jasper the trick is not fighting it" Finn says to Jasper.
"See you on the other side" Jasper says before taking off on the vine and making it to the other side of the river "yeah Jasper" I yell "woo hoo" Octavia yells "yeah" Finn yells.
Jasper stands up "wohooo yea" Jasper yells to the others "let's go Princess you're up" Finn says to me and I grab a hold of the vine I see Jasper pick up a sigh that reads Mount Weather "we are apogee" Jasper shouts before a spear was thrown from our side into Jaspers chest "Jasper" I shout.
"Get down get down" Finn says.
"We're not alone" I say
