Princess (Bellamy Blake)

Chapter 4

We begin making our way back to the camp to inform the other that we aren't the only ones of the ground. I'm holding onto Octavia to make sure she keeps pressure off of her leg even though Clarke says mines worse

We hear shouting so everyone runs to see if everything's ok but since I'm holding Octavia I'm walking.

Once we get there we see Wells holding a knife to Murphy's throat "Wells let him go" Clarke yells and Wells let's Murphy go.

"Octavia are you ok" Bellamy says rushing towards us "yeah, Sophie saved my life" Octavia says and Bellamy looks at me then looks back to Octavia

"Where's the food?" Bellamy asks

"We didn't make it to Mount Weather" Octavia says.

"What the hell happened out there" Bellamy asks her

"We were attacked" I say

"Attacked? By what" he asks me

"Not what. Who. It turns out, when the last man from the ground died on the Ark, he wasn't the last Grounder" Finn explains "It's true. Everything we thought we knew about the ground is wrong. There are people here, survivors. The good news is, that means we can survive. Radiation won't kill us" Clarke says

"Yeah, the bad news is the Grounders will" Finn says "

Where's the kid with the goggles?" Bellamy asks "Jasper was hit. They took him. Where is your wristband?" Clarke asks a Wells

"ask him" Wells says directing it toward Murphy

"How many?" Clarke asks  "Twenty-four and counting" Murphy replies smirking .

"You idiots. Life support on the Ark is failing. That's why they brought us down here." Clarke says "They need to know the ground is survivable again, and we need their help against whoever is out there. If you take off your wristbands, you're not just killing them. You're killing us!" I add to what Clarke said to the group

"We're stronger than you think. Don't listen to her . She's one of the privileged. If they come down, she'll have it good. How many of you can say the same? We can take care of ourselves. That wristband on your arm? It makes you a prisoner. We are not prisoners anymore! They say they'll forgive your crimes. I say you're not criminals! You're fighters, survivors! The Grounders should worry about us!" Bellamy yells

"Yeah" a few of the delinquents yell

"What do we do now" I ask Clarke

"Now we go after Jasper" she replies

Clarke and I go into the drop ship to try and scavenge for pieces we can use to defend ourselves and help Jasper with.

"There you guys are When my father said they didn't leave us anything, he really meant it" Wells says and Clarke and I stay quite but she notices a gash on his arm and she grabs his arm to look at it closer "It's just a scratch" Wells says. "You're making friends fast. Keep it covered. It could get infected. Nice pack" I say "Yeah, seat belts and insulation. I also packed part of the parachute, figured we could use it to carry out Jasper" he says "Good. Give it to someone else. You're not coming with us" Clarke says "Clarke" I whisper to her but she ignores me

"My ankle's fine" he says "It's not your ankle, Wells, it's you" Clarke says "You came back for reinforcements. I'm gonna help" Wells says "Clarke, he's right. We need him. So far no one else has volunteered" Monty says "

"I'm sorry, Monty, but you're not going, either" Clarke says "Like hell I'm not. Jasper's my best friend" "You're too important. You were raised on Farm Station and recruited by engineering" she explains to Monty  "So?" Monty asks

"So food and communication. What's up here, it's gonna save us all. You figure out how to talk to the Ark and we'll bring Jasper back" Clarke says she then sees Finn walk into the drop ship "Hey. You ready?" Clarke asks Finn "I'm not going anywhere, and neither should any of you. That spear was thrown with pinpoint accuracy from 300 feet" Finn says.

I walk out of the drop ship knowing that there's gonna be an argument between the two so I walk over to Octavia and I see Bellamy squatting in front of her cleaning up her leg after what happened with the giant snake.

"Hey O, hows your leg" I ask her "fine how's yours" she asks me "what happened to her leg" Bellamy asks Octavia "she jumped in the water and distracted the thing that got me so it would let me go, saved my life" Octavia says "I wouldn't say I saved your life" I tell her smiling.

"Sit" Bellamy says to me "why" I ask him "sit" he says once me so I do so and take a seat next to Octavia Bellamy moves over to my leg and grabs the piece of cloth he used to dab on Octavia's leg and put it on mind.

I wince once it makes contact with my leg but then I get used to it "What the hell was it?" Bellamy asks us "I don't know it looked like a giant snake" I reply "you both could have been killed".

"Octavia would have been if Jasper didn't jump into pull her out" Clarke says walking towards us.

"You guys leaving I'm coming too" Octavia says "no no way not again same with you Sophia you both need to stay" Bellamy says

"Like hell I'm staying, my legs fine" I say standing up "he's right Octavia your legs just gonna slow us down" Clarke says "I'm here for you" Clarke says looking to Bellamy "I hear you have a gun" Clarke asks Bellamy and Bellamy lifts up his shirt revealing a gun "good follow me" Clarke says "and why would I do that" Bellamy asks "because you want them to follow you, and right now they're thinking only one of us is scared" Clarke says. 

"Murphy come with me. Atom my sister doesn't leave this camp is that clear" Bellamy says to Atom and Murphy "I don't need a babysitter" Octavia says but Bellamy ignores her "if anyone touches her they answer to me" Bellamy says and we begin our trek to save Jasper.
