Chapter 5

"Since when are we in the rescuing business" Murphy asks Bellamy as I walk behind them but they haven't noticed I'm there yet "The Ark thinks the prince is dead. Once they think the princesses are, too, they'll never come down. I'm getting that wristband, even if I have to cut off their hands to do it" Bellamy says

"Looks like your gonna have to cut off our hands" I say to Bellamy "I thought I told you to stay in camp" Bellamy tells me "yeah well I don't take orders from you" I tell him walking ahead of them closer to Clarke.

"Hey hold up what's the rush nobly survives a spear through the heart" Bellamy says waving his gun around "put the gun away Bellamy" Wells says "why don't you do something about it" Murphy says shoving Wells.

"Jasper screamed when they moved him. If the spear struck his heart he'd have died instantly".

"We don't have time to waste let's go" I say

"As soon as you take of this wristband we can go" Bellamy says grabbing onto my wrist and Murphy grabbing Clarke's

"The only way the Ark's gonna think I'm dead is if I'm dead, got it" I tell Bellamy ripping my hand away

"Exactly let's keep moving" Clarke says ripping her hand from Murphy

"Brave princesses" Bellamy says

"Hey why don't you find a new nickname" Finn says walking towards us "you call this a rescue party go split up cover more ground Clarke come with me" Finn says and Clarke and Finn walk off leaving me with Bellamy, Murphy and Wells.

"We should split up Sophia go with Murphy and I'll go with Wells" Bellamy says

"Guess we got more in common that meets the eyes huh" I hear Bellamy say to Wells from afar.

"We have nothing in common" "No? Both came down here to protect someone we love. Your secret's safe with me. 'course, for you it's worse. With Finn around, Clarke doesn't even see you. It's like you're not even here" Bellamy says to Wells

"Hey Wells let's switch partners" I yell to him "what don't like me princess" Murphy says "something like that" I say walking to Bellamy and Wells goes with Murphy.

The entire time I feel eyes burning through the back of my head "quit studying me Bellamy" I tell him "I just want to know one thing" he says "what" "why won't you take off your wristband, I asked if you were Kane's daughter and you said unfortunately why keep the wristband on" he asks "I have other people on the Ark I love" I tell him "your Mom?" He asks "my mother was floated, my father was the one to arrest her that's why I hate him" I tell him and he goes quiet.

"Hey guys we found something" I hear Clarke shout and Bellamy and I run towards her and there's blood on a rock along with Jaspers goggles and Finn leads us following a trail of some sort.

"Hey how do we know this is the right way" Murphy asks "we don't, spackewalker thinks he's a tracker" Bellamy says I roll my eyes at them "it's call fourth year Earth skills, he's good" I tell them "you want to keep it quiet or should I paint targets on your backs" Finn says

Finn squats down and sees a small dot of blood and Clarke squats next to him. "See your invisible" Bellamy says to Wells "shut up" I tell Bellamy. We then hear a moan "what the hell was that" Murphy asks "your not scared are you" I ask Murphy smirking "shut up" he tells me "what are you gonna do about it" I ask and he goes to walk towards me until Bellamy stops him.

We then hear Jaspers moans continue "now would be a good time to take out that gun" I tell Bellamy

We walk towards the moans and we see Jasper hung up on a tree "Jasper, oh my god" I say rushing towards him "Sophia be careful" Clarke says.

As I'm walking towards Jasper the grass collapses in and I begin to fall until a hand grabs mine I look up and see Bellamy holding onto my hand with a look on his face like he's contemplating to let me fall "pull her up" Finn yells and everyone helps pull me up "Sophie are you ok" Clarke asks me and I nod my head I look over at Bellamy and nod my head at him.

"We need to get him down" Clarke says "I'll climb up there and cut the vines" Finn says "yeah yeah I'm with you" Wells says "no stay with the girls and watch him" Finn says looking to Bellamy "you let's go" Finn says talking to Murphy

"Clarke look at his wound" I say "there's a poultice in his wound?" She says "medicine? Why would they save his life just to string him up as live bait" Wells asks "maybe what they're trying to catch likes it's dinner to be breathing" Bellamy says.

"Maybe what they're trying to catch is us" I say.

"Hurry up Murphy" Wells says "be careful" Clarke says when suddenly growling comes from the bushes "what the hell was that" Wells asks "grounders" Bellamy asks.

Then a panther comes out of the bushes "Bellamy gun" Clarke yells and the panther goes to jump at me when the panther is shot down but not long it starts growling again Bellamy grabs me and pulls me behind him when suddenly the panther jumps in the air to attack Bellamy and I but Wells shoots it with Bellamy's gun.

"Now she sees you" Bellamy says to Wells.

'"They're back" a kid yells as we walk back into camp with Finn and Wells carrying Jasper and Murphy and Bellamy carrying the panther.

"I need boiled water and strips of cloth for bandage" Clarke says and Finn and Wells take Jasper to the dropship.

"Who's hungry" Bellamy yells dropping the panther on the ground and everyone cheers.
