A month later... (because I'm a lazy bitch)

I was working on a watch tower, when I heard the supply run come up. I've been in here for a month now, I had to do something with my time other than working on a house and others. So I had named this place the Blade. I had gone outside theses walls, it looked like a maze. There were creatures inside so I didn't explore a lot of it.

(you'll understand why I changed the names of some things later into the story don't worry)

I was all dirty and covered in mud. A day or two after I came into the Blade I had remembered my name. Y/N. I can't remember what my last name is, all I know is that I'm 13 years old and my name is Y/N. I ran to the supply run and opened the top. There was a boy inside. He had black skin, dark brown hair and he looked to be the same age as me. He looked so frightened, that's what I must of looked like. I jumped down and he looked at me scared out of his mind.

"Hey don't worry. Your safe, I'm not going to hurt you. Do you remember anything, your name. Can you tell me what's the last thing you remember?" I asked him. He looked at me and shook his head.

"Don't worry about it. It happened to me too. You'll probably get your name back after a day or two. So you probably want to come out of there huh?" I asked him. He nodded and stood up carefully.

"But before we leave we need to get this stuff first. I need it." I told him. He nodded and helped me up get all the supplies. We got the house I had built a month ago. We put down the stuff and I started a fire. I had made a fence for the pigs that had been brought with us so we could breed them. I put the pig inside the fence and went and sat beside the boy.

"So can you remember anything?" I asked him.

"No, I can't I'm sorry. You didn't tell me your name strange girl." He asked.

"I'm Y/N, I'm 13 years old and I've been here for a month now." I tell him.

"Woah, you must have been pretty alone huh?" He asked.

"Yeah, but your here now. So I'm not alone anymore." I said happily.

"What is this place?" He asked.

"Well I call it the Blade, beyond theses walls is a maze. There are creatures inside that maze. So in the morning you stay here and work on some structures while I run the maze looking for a way out, I have this feeling that every month there will be more people coming so we have to be prepared." I told him. He nodded and looked at the fire.

"So what was it like being here, all alone. How'd you do it?" He asked looking back at me.

"Honestly, quite boring, quiet, terrifying. But thankfully there was a book on survival skills. It showed me ways to survive. Though it was hard, I still did it because I want to survive." I said to him, determined.

"I admire your determination Y/N. You would be a great leader." He said smiling at me. I smiled back at him and that day blossomed a beautiful friendship.
