Chpt. 4

               A 3 weeks later...

    Y/N's P.O.V.

    Newt's been here for a few weeks now, I've been getting to know him better each day. He's like Alby just less talkative. I've been starting to take a like on him. He's nice, funny, kind, cute and many more. But even though the guys say I'm not afraid of anything, I'm afraid to tell Newt my feelings for him. What if he doesn't like me back, what if he sees me as just a sister? I can't take a risk.

   Newt's P.O.V.

   I've been in the Blade for few weeks now. Honestly, it's not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I've been talking to Y/N a lot. And I've been starting to take a like on her, she's beautiful, funny, hard working, and overall a badass. I could go on all day about what I like about her but I have not idea if she even likes me. Or what she even thinks about me. She might think of me as some freak who just came. But I may never know because I'm too much of a pussy to tell her.

    A week ago I was given the job as a runner, alongside Y/N and Ben. Ben would go by himself while myself and Y/N were running the maze all alone. We were taking a short break when I started starring at her. But she quickly caught me.

"Take a picture, it'll last longer." She said with a smirk. And if my eyes aren't playing tricks on me, I saw her blush. It's probably just my imagination, I thought. I quickly looked away and just drank some of my water.

"So...you were the first girl and person huh?" I asked. She nodded.

"Alby was the second person to come, he was all I had for that long month of being alone. It was hard but you need to do what you gotta do to survive. But when the other boys came, it felt same...it was like I was still lonely. Until you came..." She paused, looked at me and smiled.

"I know it may sound cheesy but, its true. Like everything in the world finally made sense." She said to me looking down. I stood up and lifted up her chin so she was looking at me.

"When I met you, I felt the same thing. I knew you were the one I was looking for, but I didn't say anything because I thought you didn't feel the same way..." I said to her, looking her straight in the eyes. She smiled and hugged me, I hugged her back.

"So are we a thing now?" She asked, still in the hug.

"Yeah, we're a thing now." I said to her, pulling away from the hug.

"We should probably get back now, it's getting late and the doors would be closing soon." She said getting her stuff.

"Yeah but I just have to do one thing." I said. She turned around and I kissed her. I could feel her smile through the kiss. She kissed back and then pulled away. We ran back into the Blade, had dinner and we fell asleep. With her in my arms.
