Peytons POV
I couldn't get the poor girls face out of my thoughts.I barely knew her but the tears still fell from my face one after another.Nobody should have to go through what Adriann and Aubrey just did.I looked around at the faces before me.Everyone was teary eyed and stressed.I saw Adri sitting at the side of the building looking over the town.
"I'm sorry.." That was all I could say as I looked at my best friend
"It's okay" She said sadly
"No it's not I should have done it"
"No,Peyton we all no you couldn't have done it any more than I could."
"Still you shouldnt have ha-" she cut me off and looked at me straight in the eyes.
"Listen, I had to do it okay? She was putting us in danger and she told me to do it.Yes I regret it,Yes I wish I could undo it,but I can't and she's In a better place now..." As she talked we walked back to the group "I wish she could have lived but it didn't happen like that. But she landed in a dumpster so hey no walkers will get her and she can rest peacefully" We sat down with the group.
"Adriann.." Avery said looking up to Adri
"Yeah?"
"What where Aubreys last words?" She asked quietly,everyone got silent as Adriann looked around.
"She said to keep you safe."
"I remember after she got bit she told me not to leave her alone...I miss her so much..but now she's a lot safer than us." Avery said looking up at the sky.Fresh tears glowed on her small cheeks, We couldn't let her get hurt anymore than she already had.
Nialls POV
As we sat there Avery started humming a song that I had heard before.Then she sang out loud:

You and I'll be safe and sound--- The girls finished the chorus but were to teary to finish but after a split second Peytons strong voice filled the air

The war outside our door keeps raging oooon---

Even when the musics gooone goone---- All the girls joined in for the chorus their beautiful voices fitting perfectly together,drowning out everything else in the world.
