Val Velocity is one of the main antagonists of the comic series The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys. He leads a haphazard group called the Ultra Vs in their chaotic adventures around the desert. Bitter and hot-tempered, Val grows increasingly paranoid until he causes an unthinkable tragedy.
Val is the fiery, unpredictable leader of the Ultra Vs, a gang of teenagers who live in an area called the Nest. As time goes on, Val becomes increasingly violent and paranoid. He dyes his hair red in an attempt to co-opt Party Poison's style and replace his status as a legend. Eventually, Val's paranoia leads to the murder of Dr. Death Defying, an act that he later regrets
When Val first appears, he has snow-white hair, a matching jacket, a grey mask with a large red X across the eyes, and a necklace with false vampire fangs attached. Later, he dyes his hair red to match Party Poison's style.
